1. Canceled Dd1's speech appointment today. We've canceled almost as many as we've actually had this year. 2. Dd2 woke up crying at 4am with a temp of 103.6. She was witting hugging her pink turtle at the far end of the crib from where she normally sleeps, and looked very confused when I went in. Felll back to sleep after a does of Motrin and some ice water in a sippy. 3. made appointments for the girls at 10am to be seen. Just want to rule out ear infections since they don't really have stuffy or runny noses.
1. 33 weeks today! Almost done! Growth scan at the end of the month 2. I want to be in Boston today! Go Patriots 3. Clara has her first party at daycare since knowing about her food allergy. I am more than a bit nervous about it. 😐
meggypoo1, is your daycare a nut free environment? Both the ones we've been at have a strict no nuts and no homemade treats policy. Everything has to have a nut free sticker on it. Try not to worry, daycare workers are the peanut police.
1) DS started today with a time out for hitting. 2) I want cake, there is no cake here and up up 3lbs again 3) It's so cold today. I'm so over living in the cold. It was -25c when we left this morning

They are so Day to Day I don't have to worry. But this the first party they all have to deal with. It's just that sometimes there are different people in her room. They are all supposed to know but will they look at the packages well enough? That goes for the parents too. Like will they know that manufacturing on the same equipment is a no. Also, even more scary is if you go to one of our big local grocery stores and buy their brand of cookies or cupcakes it will probably not say it has nuts but the cross contamination is huge in this case because they don't have the facility not to have this happen. It is all things I don't think people think of until they have to. I think I may pack her a snack bag of treats I know are ok to have and have them give her that and hopefully the kids don't share their food yet.
1. I hate our winter weather pattern of frequent 1-3 inch snowstorms. I'd rather one huge snowstorm so I can stay home from work. I still have to drive in the small snowstorms, they mess up traffic and still require shoveling. Then they melt so quickly that I don't have a chance to take DS out to play.
2. I feel like I don't have enough work. Everyone seems so swamped and I'm twiddling my thumbs... I know it will be short-lived but it's still unnerving.
3. I have no will to parent anymore. I'm so exhausted and DS is toddlering hard lately.
meggypoo1 that's what the kids in my school do when they have food allergies. They keep a container of "safe snacks" in the classroom so that when a party comes up they can have something special too.

Eventually I know I am going to have not live in so much fear but this is still so new to us. Plus she is 2. She can't really say no I can't have that. You know? Anyway, thanks for making me feel less weird about sending a safe snack bag for her!
meggypoo1,i don't think there is anything weird at all about sending a safe snack bag and telling every single adult that she can only eat those snacks because of a severe allergy. I have a good friend who has a very severe shellfish allergy and she has no shame telling every single server at restaurants that she cannot have shellfish because she could die and she needs her food preped in a clean area and not fried in the same oil as shrimp etc. You're an awesome mum for making sure she has something special but safe to eat at the party

Thank you. Your words are touching. I am trying my best!
1. Part of an accreditation survey today. Those things are so darn stressful. One of the best tools is showing your team you have complete confidence and are not stressed. 2. Got some sleep last night, but I can't catch up from the night before. 3. I want to watch a movie I want to see and nap for the entire day. Edit: words
1. Finally back at work after being away for over a week due to travel and illness. You know things were bad when you are happy to be back at work.
2. We are all on antibiotics to fight this plague. Mine look like horse pills. YUGE.
3. It was pouring rain this morning and will be in the 50s today. Bring me snow dammit! The mud sucks with a toddler and a dog. DS1 still hasn't gotten to play in the snow this winter. Not so sure he will at all at this rate.

You are doing an awesome job! She's not my kid and I'm scared for her 😊
1. Even on vacation my boss has to send requests to add to my work. 2. Ordered my first set of prescription sunglasses last night. Anxious to see if I like them. 3.I was sad dropping Eliza off. She asked for an extra hug and kiss and had a super sad pouty face that I had to go.
1. I spent over an hour on the phone this morning with hospitals/insurance but I'm starting to make progress. 2. I can't believe DS2 is 10 months old and I need to start planning a birthday party. 3. It's snowing and DS1 is excited to go out and play. Maybe DH will take him, it's cold!
1. High of 75 here today, lots of houses for sale in my neighborhood, low COL. IJS
2. Making a cake for a baby shower next week. I'm excited as I don't get to make cakes nearly as much as I used to.
3. SIL's birthday dinner is at a local pizza buffet tonight. Blah. She said she's craving it and she's surprised no one questioned her about it. I told her we'll give her a pass this time because she's pregnant and her taste buds are off.

We, are getting two days of rain and 60 degrees then Thursday it's supposed to drop into the low 30's with a snow storm. Wtf weather this year!

1. The weather here is nuts and I can't seem to dress right or have DD properly clothed when the temp keeps changing 30 some degrees each day. 2. I decided to go back off this birth control it's not helping what it was supposed to possibly help, I'm starving all the time and I'm way cranky with absolutely no sex drive. 3. DD is suddenly huge and I think I may have to get her some 4t clothing soon.

Seriously. We have no snow in sight. All we had was some snow back sometime before Christmas and nothing substantial since. This is not Chicago. I don't know where I am.

Meanwhile, Seattle shut down yesterday because we got 4 inches of snow. And now we have ice. Awesome.
4. Both girls tested negative for strep but positive for influenza. Yipee.
Oh no. Do you know where they could have gotten it? Both you are YH were sick too right? Did everyone get flu shots? Look at me with 100 questions.
Yep, Dh and i were both sick. He went in yesterday and got told he is the flu, I never went in, but now figure I have a milder case of it. Dh and I didn't getbflu shots, but the girls both did. We think it came home from work with Dh. He has a Jack ass co-worker that came in sick 3 days last week and didn't tell anyone till the third day that he wasn't feeling well. By 5 at least 6 other people on dh's shift were sick. Dh is going to lay into him when he sees the guy tomorrow.

I feel the same about Philadelphia apparently it's opposite year because Susan0utLoud is getting all our snow in Seattle instead
