1. I'm pissed with Republicans in Congress. Pissed. There is nothing my Rep can do to make me vote for him in 2018 now.
2. DD2 is still teething. This top tooth may kill me. Poor little dear is miserable and barely sleeping, even with the Motrin. It's been 2 weeks. Where is this GD tooth?
3. The weather has been far too mild this year. I'm worried for the summer.

I hope that a lot of Republicans will be voted out in 2018. It seems that they did not listen to their constituents at all on this one.

As long as people still remember. It's unfortunately a long time for some people and if nothing bad happens until after the midterms, people can become complacent.

Good point. Plus, midterms tend to have lower voter turnout and historically, when there's low voter turnout, Republicans win.
I actually like our senators. We have a governor problem though.
1. Trying to book a place to have DD2s baptism in June. Between DD1s birthday in April, my mom's wedding in May and the baptism in June I'll be #broke this summer.
2. As a teacher and parent I am scared for our public schools. I know so much about the system isn't working across the country but it only gets worse the more politicians who know nothing about education get involved.
3. The days go surprisingly fast when DD1 is at school. I can't believe it's time to pick her up soon.
1. I hate our winter weather pattern of frequent 1-3 inch snowstorms. I'd rather one huge snowstorm so I can stay home from work. I still have to drive in the small snowstorms, they mess up traffic and still require shoveling. Then they melt so quickly that I don't have a chance to take DS out to play.
2. I feel like I don't have enough work. Everyone seems so swamped and I'm twiddling my thumbs... I know it will be short-lived but it's still unnerving.
3. I have no will to parent anymore. I'm so exhausted and DS is toddlering hard lately.

You are getting your wish for a big snowstorm!
When I wrote this, they were only predicting 1-3! We'll see what actually happens...

1st u/s tomorrow morning. Finally. So nervous and just trying to keep all the worst case scenarios out of my head.
+1 for the weather this winter sucks. Home is brown and blah; school playground is a treacherous icy mess. Snowed a little earlier this evening but I just heard sleet pelting the windows so changeover has already started and it's supposed to be freezing rain and rain by morning. Ick. Maybe we'll get a little actual snow Thursday but then Sunday/Monday looks like a change to rain again. Yuck. Though then again, at least it's not tornadoes.
Dd has been in a sweeter, more fun phase the last couple of weeks and saying so many hilarious things. Knock on wood/fingers crossed it doesn't prove to be a really short phase.
thank you!! I posted real quick in the pregnancy thread earlier but in case you don't look there all is well! I was so relieved and happy I don't even mind that the OB who did the u/s referred to me as "elderly" (plus I've heard of that before so wasn't shocked) when I was trying to get her to go with the EDD from the measurements rather than from LMP (only one day later but could be important when they start talking about induction as soon as I hit due date, because of being an "elderly" mother)! They stuck with edd from lmp which is 9/7.
