My friend's induction started Wednesday morning... Still no baby I feel so bad for her. Hopefully she arrives soon!
Oh man.... how long ago did her water break? That is soooooo long.
o
I'm not sure it has. I know yesterday afternoon she was not dilated at all yet. So they did another round of certidol (is that the gel?). Then last night they put a Foley bulb in. It fell out at midnight but l&d was so busy they wouldn't let the doctor do anything more to get things going more. As of earlier this afternoon I saw on Facebook she was still waiting for baby's arrival.
I believe Wednesday night she messaged me and said she was going crazy. She'd have nothing and then really bad contractions for an hour. Then they'd stop.

Those of you that are putting shoes on your LO's, just curious what size they're wearing?
W is in a size 4. I'm not sure how long he will be in this size as his feet are so big. Sigh.
We have Brady in a 3.5 in the Target Stride Rite brand, but we have to stuff them in haha. His feet are so chubby! Not wide but tall if that makes sense.

E's feet are the same and so are/were her sister's. My sister gave me a few pairs of Nike for dd1 and I couldn't ever get them done up over her feet. I think it's called a high instep.

About 48 hours after my induction was started, it was discovered that the baby had gone from head down to transverse. They did a successful external version and tried to break my water, but she went back to transverse before they could so I ended up with a csection. I hope that your friend has a different experience and that her baby arrives soon if she hasn't already!

Today I learned that several herbs in traditional medicinals mother's milk tea are also recommended for colds. It's been about thirty minutes since I drank it, and I'm already feeling a little better

Good to know! Will keep this in the back of my mind the next time I get a cold. I have a ton of MMT left over.
Max has a fat foot. He needs velcro. He is wearing 4 or 4.5. he has a pair of stride rites and we just bought him some vans. He does have a pair of toms but they are a size 5 and we haven't put them on him yet.
