I have today off, so I got to do day 29 early, instead of after kids go to bed.
I wish I could work out in the morning all the time, but on a normal workday that would require getting up at 5am, and I just don't think I could do it.
I'm starting week 6 of 5.0 today. I wasn't able to get my workout in this morning because the kids were up super early. Hoping to squeeze it in this afternoon so I don't have to do it after they're in bed. I hate working out at night.
I'm really enjoying phase two and how upper/lower body are separated. I like the cardio format too.

Just finished day 29! I'm nervous for the fit test tomorrow. My body has been so sore this past week and I didn't even move up in weights yet. I'm down about 5 lbs though so happy about that.

I just started week 4 last night. Being sick last week, there were two days that I had to double up to stay on track and was only on the treadmill once. Hopefully I can kick some ass this week and still have made progress next week for the fit test.
Day 29 and my arms are like jello! For those that don't know, today is upper body. 1 minute of exercise with a 20 second break. Those extra 15 seconds are tough! And the extra 5 seconds on break go too fast lol
Day 29 Arms were killing me this morning. For some reason the one-armed rows were torture, usually they dont bother me. Also DD is officially over working out with Mommy and spends the entire time asking to be picked up. Briana should do a workout series of "how to use your child as a weight" exercises.
Day 29 done! I liked it! I used 10lbs for all except the last couple moves and had to switch to 5's cause my arms were dying. Dying in a good way though!
I never did get around to doing day 27. I'll either end up skipping it or hopefully one of these days I'll feel up to doubling up just to say I did it. I didn't want to be behind on starting the new format though.

I think my arms might fall off! I enjoyed day 29 though. I'm nervous for the fit test tomorrow, I didn't make the best choices this weekend. But today is a new week, so I'll do my best to make better choices.
Day 29 is done. I'm a little excited about the minute long exercises as last week was the first time I felt like they were going fast. But that extra 15 seconds adds a lot!!
Good luck to everyone tomorrow! I'm a little nervous because I feel like the scale isn't going to show a difference this time (but also ready to see where the inches went now) so I'm getting myself in the mindset just to compete with my last fit test scores!
Today was my last day of week 4. I didn't get better with all of my numbers but felt better with my form as the week went on. I'm ciriius to see what the scale says on Wednesday.
I'm nervous if cardio will follow suit and be a minute long too. I literally spend the entire 15 seconds catching my breath. And then I sometimes ATTEMPT a sip of water, but usually I can't get my breathing slowed down in time to focus on the drink of water! Damn you, cardio!!!
Day 29 done, for the first time I put music on while working out. It gave me so much more energy and was exactly what I needed to get pumped up for my work out again.

Oh this is a good idea!
I have felt like I couldn't have music on because I have wanted to hear what she is saying, today I didn't listen to a word she said and it was great.
My arms are tingling. That was rough. And I used my 10lb weights for the whole workout. I'm proud of myself for that.
Nervous about the fit test tomorrow. I have not made good food choices in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully I've lost inches even if I haven't lost weight.
