Good morning. I'm WFH and also monitoring contractors. I've got the builders coming back to replace a few floorboards and also Samsung coming out to fix something on the washer (remember that top loader issue a few months back?). So really romantic day around here - ha. After I'm done my work day, I am going to get a pedi and then pick up our sushi for dinner, so all is not lost! Have a great Valentine's Day! Anyone get any treats?

Happy Valentine's Day, friends! I got in an early workout class and left treats in MH's car. I still have my niece today so we are just laying low and demolishing my house!

Help! I think C is constipated. He's screaming that his butt hurts. I gave him a probiotic and juice. I'm avoiding bananas and such. I tried kinda pressing down on his stomach a bit. What else can I do???

Miralax?
Oh good idea. If he still can't go I'll have MH run some home. I can't fit the 3 kids in my car, so we are stuck here.
I think Josie and Charlie are getting sick, so we had a really low-key afternoon yesterday. Watched a lot of Valentine's Day shows. Have you guys noticed that most of the kid shows either say "happy heart day" or "it's I love you day" so, now that's what Josie is calling it. Preschool Valentine's Day party this afternoon, and then heart-shaped pizza and salad for dinner tonight.
B's DC is calling it Friendship Day. I'm sorry, did I miss something here? Are we no longer allowed to say Valentine's Day?

Did your washer break? Ours was part of the notice but they just sent us a sticker with new settings to put over top of the current setting panel.

They sent us the stickers too. Nothing broke, but they also sent us information about sending a Samsung tech to come make an adjustment. I'm not really sure what that means or entails but if his adjustment can prevent a possible problem, sounds good to me.

Oh crap @peachsmama, did I make the wrong choice?? Do you know anymore about why your boss didn't like the new settings? They didn't offer me a refund- just $500 credit towards a new one.
Happy VDay lovely ladies! N was so exited for her party today. I'm sure she'll be on a sugar high by noon. I'm at work but could really use another hour or two of sleep. I really need to get back into working out. I haven't done a thing since before our vacation and I just feel blah. If our kids would sleep and get over their sicknesses, I might feel like getting up early again. This weekend is suppose to be nearly 60, so I hope to get outside for a run a few times at least.

It eliminated the bedding setting and he said when they did big things on the other setting they couldn't get enough water to spin out and everything was soaking wet. He took the credit and found a new washer for $700. So 200 out of pocket. But they've only had it two years and don't want reduced settings for the next 5-8 or however long it lasts.
Thanks for the insight. I'll talk it through w the tech then. I am having a similar issues now when I wash bedding.
Ha. PBK has 20% off and free shipping. I'm pretty sure the list of exclusions is nearly everything in store. They'd be better making a list of inclusions.

Happy Valentin's Day Ladies! I'm sorry for the drive-by, but things have been crazy around here. We never did replace the nanny, so I only have two full days a week to work. The rest of the time is spent packing everyone up to go to the gym for 2 hours so I can squeeze in a few emails while I'm on the treadmill and then carting everyone to drop my 4 y/o at pre-school. Next year everyone is taking the bus...even though I have to pay for it. Whatever it costs will be worth it for me to stand on the corner with my coffee and wave goodbye! Pre-school drop off is the absolute worst.
I miss you girls and hope to get back on and catch up soon! XO

I should probably buy Charlie's anywhere chair now.
That's an exclusion. Which I don't see listed, but it must be classified as furniture because I'm trying to do the same thing and the code does not apply!

I don't recall getting either! I think I still have the papers that came with sticker...must take a look
Happy Valentine's Day, loves! H is at her preschool party and I'm nursing S down for her first nap. Today is her last "first" holiday and it makes me sad. I'm in denial that she will be a year old in 12 days. The feels, I have them. H keeps asking for goggles so I grabbed a pair at target along with the little box of chocolates which she will get after her nap this afternoon. I'm thinking we will probably do a heart pizza too for supper, even though we had pizza for supper last night.
Dropped B at preschool loaded down with Valentines, tulips for his teachers, and stuff for the class party, then C and I ran some errands and are back at home now. We're going over to my mom's this afternoon to bake cookies and deliver their cards.

Apparently no one in this house wants to nap except me. I'm anxious for my sister's MIL to pick up my niece, but I guess she sleeps in and is still sleeping. It's 12:15.

Is she 15?
Right!? My sister said she's always 2 hours late too. Sooo... I'm guessing I'll have niece for awhile longer.
I just spent the first 1/2 hour of lunch picking up treats for my office's celebration and now I feel weak from not having lunch first. And all this talk of heart-shaped pizzas really makes my turkey sandwich seem extra insufficient.
In other news, I got my raise and bonus numbers today. My bonus was better than expected and my raise was pathetic - and I didn't expect much. I suppose it's still better than a few years back when there were no annual increases. For years. It took a few years of people leaving left and right, but they finally realized that wasn't a good strategy.

This is crazy. MIL sleeps like this as well and stays up easily until 2-3am. Even on Christmas morning, imagine how annoying that was.
My sister said the same thing. So weird. She's planned to drop my niece off at like 11 and she has to go in the house and wake up her MIL. Awkward and annoying!

Happy valentines to the loveliest group of ladies out there!!
So, dh normally leaves for work around 5 and I get up and get kids up by 6:30. This morning I woke up at 7 and realized my alarm had never gone off. I freaked out and leapt out of bed and started yelling for the kids to get up. Well, I ran downstairs and dh was there with all the kids up and ready for school, and he had flowers, a blueberry muffin and a mimosa waiting for me.sweet man told work he would be coming in late and then turned off my alarm so I could sleep in.
All the kids have vday parties today and Ryland and I are going to go to head out to Lucas's school for his. I also made cupcakes and picked up wine, lobster and scallops for dh and I for dinner.
