I took the kids to the city yesterday to have a play date at an indoor playground with one of my BFFs and her 1.5 year old girl. I asked DS ahead of time if he was going to show friend's daughter how to play with everything and he sighed and said "no Mom. I can only have one little girl" baha.
Preschool today, gymnastics later this afternoon, and I have a fundraiser meeting tonight! Hope everyone has a good day!

Today is BH's Valentine's Day party at daycare. And tomorrow is his last day. As much as I have issues with the place, I do feel bad, because he loves them so much and he's going to miss them.

I just scheduled C's first "haircut" aka trim for March when I go back in to my stylist. I'm only slightly nervous about her reaction...
My Thursday is off to an ok start minus the fact that I think my cold is here to stay despite medicine. Looking forward to the weekend because I took off next Monday. Hello glorious 4 days off!
Anyone else dealing with a ton of mr/miss independent therefore a TON of frustration?
The good thing about my Mr. Independent is that he wants to help me with EVERYTHING. Need silverware for your meal? Check. Want to put X in the dishwasher or washing machine or dryer? Check. Need a towel or wash cloth because you are going to take a shower? Check. Need toilet paper because you are sitting on the toilet? Check.
Just another day today. LO has a V day party at daycare today too but I won't be able to make it. I was originally supposed to have tomorrow off since daycare was closed but needed to be physically present for a few things, so the kids will be spending the day with MIL and FIL until H gets home.

DD and I had a brunch date at Panera since I have a free bagel this month. One of my sisters is scheduled to be induced tomorrow morning and I CANNOT WAIT to meet my newest niece!

I'm here. It's been such a busy week at work with a ton of people on vacation, and last night I hardly slept between work-related insomnia and DS developing a cough I heard on the monitor every few minutes, so I'm basically at the point where I'm counting down to today being over so I can fall into bed and start the weekend - it's going to be sunny and 60 on Saturday, the weather guy this morning kept talking about how we might break a record. I plan on spending every minute of daylight outside!
I'm home with either a stomach bug or food poisoning. Apparently I didn't have a hangover yesterday so that's positive? I did get to enjoy a long nap all alone. The dog didn't even realize I was home. Currently binging Kids Baking Challenge because O doesn't like cooking competitions.
Also, lol at first haircuts. O has one scheduled for Saturday. I've lost count but we go every 4-6 weeks. We should really go every 4 but it isn't a fun experience regardless of how many he's had.
Afternoon everyone! DS has kindergarten round-up tonight! I'm excited for him, and I'm looking forward to seeing the school/meeting the teachers.
billyhorrible, are you switching to a new center? What have the problems been? There are some things I don't love about DS's center but I just figure it's going to be that way everywhere I go.

I'm just sitting here at work nervously awaiting my MIL to call and tell me how today's Speech session went. Yesterday, Matthew started crying/screaming the second she walked through the door, and took a full 10 minutes for him to calm down, even with me sitting next to him. Hope today is better!
In better news, DH booked us a 2 night stay in the Poconos this weekend! Excited to go to the spa, the jacuzzi, and possibly go skiing on Sunday. It's been years!
I got H and I our Jays tickets for our wicked weekend date in May!! They went on sale today and holy bananas I knew they sold out games but didn't know it happened so fast. So we might be able to high five the top of the CN tower from where we are, lol, but hey we'll be there for our first time and that's all we wanted.
