1. How has the week gone? Did you hit your goals? Were there any challenges? 2. What is your goal for the next week? 3. Any non-scale victories? Bonus: have you tried any new workout apparel lately? What are your thoughts?
1. I got in all my runs. That was my biggest challenge since DH was out of town. I did okay on the eating thing. Had a couple of bad days but nothing too awful.
2. I have to add in my strength training. I think that is going to help me stay motivated to run. However I have decided that instead of trying to do all my workouts in the morning before anyone is awake. I am going to use the weekends to get some workouts in. I just can't get up at 0500 five days a week if I don't have too.
3. eh not really. I would love to see some improvements but I have seemed to plateaued, thus adding in the strength training.
4. I used to run in the runner's short shorts but then I had a baby and can't seem to loose the weight. So now I run in the leggings that come down to mid calf. OMG I love this style. I didn't even realize how much until I tried to go back and got really bad chaffing.
I also found a new sports bra that gives me the running support I need (36C) that makes sure no one can see my nipples and doesn't cause chaffing. I will have to see if I can find the link. It was cheap too. I want to say under 10 dollars. Sorry if that was TMI.

1. Pretty good week. Guys, I went to yoga last night! It was GLORIOUS. Ate pretty healthy this week (though there were a couple ice cream incidents...) 2. Next wee, I'm going to go back to crossfit! The first part of the week is really just to figure out logistics with the baby (I can take her to the gym with me). Like, the drive, and when to feed her, etc. I'll be taking it super super easy. The later part of the week, when I'm comfortable with the "getting" there, I'll work on the actual "being" there and getting shit done. 3. I actually DID something.
No new workout gear. But my main workout shoes are HUGE on my now. My feet were so swollen throughout my entire pregnancy that they totally stretched my shoes!

xctsclrx, I need to know about your running bra. Inexplicably the one I have used for years is suddenly chaffing terribly leaving welts on my collar bone and sore spots around the bra line.
1. How has the week gone? Did you hit your goals? Were there any challenges?
I will know for sure when I weigh in tomorrow, but I think I might maybe have possibly turned a corner on nutrition. My mid week sneak peaks at the scale are showing me down in weight again this week, and even finally dipping below the plateau number I was at.
All it took was revisiting weight watchers, switching to coaching, and finding a coach that does triathlons and marathons. Ha!
Workouts were good, but it was kind of a pain working around canceled valentines workouts and having my bike in the shop for a tune up.
2. What is your goal for the next week?
Get in more protein. I do better when I eat quality protein. Get in more veggies. When I do those things, I can eat less without being so hungry...shock right? ... No? Not shocking? Oh right, it's common sense.
Prep some stand by, healthy food this week (like a quinoa salad or some such) so I don't come home after a workout starving.
3. Any non-scale victories?
Bonus: have you tried any new workout apparel lately? What are your thoughts?
Nike running shorts are not good. At least not the ones you get at the outlet store.
I still need shorts most of the time, though. I get too hot in capris. I do like running in my tri shorts though. They are tight fit and not as long. I wouldn't wear them to the grocery store though...
1. How has the week gone? Did you hit your goals? Were there any challenges? I worked out 3 days in a row. I did a easy yoga DVD and then walked 2 days! Then I got sick and nothing happened the rest of the week 2. What is your goal for the next week? I'm hoping to get 2 yoga workout DVDs in this week and if the weather has a break a walk. I'm walking like crazy at work. 3. Any non-scale victories? NA
2chatter,they do make above the knee ones but you have to be looking for them. Mostly in biking stores is where I see them, but lately target and dicks sporting goods have been carrying them too. They call them bike shorts but I don't think they have the padding in the butt to be real bike shorts. It is hit or miss though. I don't like them very much because I feel like it hits me in a weird place and looks off.
xctsclrx - those do look kind of weird. Now I'm wondering about the 7 inch compression shorts instead. My posterior falls out of the booty length when they ride up and it looks like I'm running in a big bikini bottom. Ha.
1. How has the week gone? Did you hit your goals? Were there any challenges? Great week workout-wise. I got 5 good treadmill workouts, and 2 days of body weight exercises. It was much better than expected since DH was out of town all week and my car broke down. My glutes are feeling the squats and lunges from yesterday... Diet... Eh... not so good. Not awful, but not good. There's always next week.
2. What is your goal for the next week? I'm hoping for 5 good treadmill workouts - fast walking or intervals.
3. Any non-scale victories? Felt super skinny in the dress I wore the other day. It wasn't clinging like it usually does - there was a bit of room. Also, the butt of my skinny jeans is baggy.
Bonus: have you tried any new workout apparel lately? What are your thoughts? I found a great sports bra made by RBX. Comfortable (not squishing my 34C's), and really good support when I run. I cannot find a link for the life of me.
1. a bit of a win; a bit of a loss. I was able to exercise more than I expected despite H being away at a business trip. However, I didn't control myself very much regarding what I ate.
2. Exercise 5 X a week, full workouts. Nothing that exciting is going on next week so I think I should be able to make it work.
3. I feel more toned and less flubby than I have been for a long time.
No workout apparel, but I am seeking out more spanx or waist trainer type products.
1. Ok - I still worked out at the beginning of the week, but have some cough/congestion issues that stopped me from running as planned on Weds/Thurs. 2. Not do horrible damage at Disney - walk enough to counteract the churros! 3. I re-discovered some pants I thought were lost, and they were tight before, but fit great now. I love the capri pants from costco! $16, and they're amazing.
