C loooooved his water table last summer. We have a small plastic slide and a plastic rocking horse that were handed down to us but he wasn't quite big enough for them last summer. I think he will enjoy them this year though. He really enjoys his push bike and his little tikes cozy coupe.
We have a water table that both girls loved last summer, a sandbox that I think LO will enjoy this summer, and also a climber. We did have a playhouse from Costco that DD loved but the movers would not move it since it was cedar. We are considering getting a new one this year. Not a "toy" but this weekend the girls spent over an hour playing with their sidewalk chalk!

I have a teeny tiny front yard. The toys that G seems to like for our space are pretty simple. She likes her ball and her bubbles. I will have to see about bringing one of her ride on toys outside.
Yay for more outside space. C likes her little swing and slide combo. This year she will be able to navigate it on her own. I'm thinking about getting her something like a little basketball hoop or soccer net. Not sure yet.

What kind of ride-on toys do you have?
My grandmother bought her this for her first Christmas and she still loves it. It's really an indoor toy but I am willing to bring it in and out because it's light.
marygracerich, I'm looking for something like that. This kid won't go on the grass. I think it's because she spent the first 18 months of her life in a metropolis and doesn't understand that you can walk on grass. She thinks you can only stay on sidewalks.

G used to have a lot of trouble with grass too. We didn't have any type of yard in our old apartment so every time we went somewhere she was in the stroller. It wasn't until the end of the summer that she started to really like it. Now that we let her play in the front yard, we sometimes have trouble getting her come in the house. 😊 Really though the toy is cute and she loves it. I think I am going to buy her some sidewalk chalk too.

Water table and small pool for sure! I hope K likes them as much as she did last year. We also have a real pool that she would only tolerate for small stints. I would also love a sand box but DH won't let me put anything on his precious lawn. We had to keep the water table and kiddie pool on the deck....I'd rotate it all day to keep it in the shade of the umbrella.
Chalk, bubble machine, little tikes car (which she might have actually outgrown), and her radio flyer wagon were all hits!

Oh, sidewalk chalk is a good idea.
They make it in sooooo many colors now that I sort of want it for me. I saw a crayola 64 pack of chalk in target and was jealous that I didn't have it as a kid. I almost bought but then came to my senses. G is not even 2. She will give 0 fucks about 64 colors of chalk.

Haha, good point. Our street doesn't have a sidewalk and our yard isn't flat so ride on toys aren't super useful but we do have a long walk to our door that she could color on.
