We're pretty good here. I'm realizing that P is more manipulative than I realized. Now that I have quit giving in to her hysterical freakouts, they are slowing down.
QOTW: Let's talk about bed!
What kind of bed is lo in? Still in a crib. #cribs4lyfe
What time is bedtime?
7:30-8 What is bedtime routine?
Bath every other night, pjs, story, and prayers with sister in her room. Parents alternate kids each night. P gets 2 songs while rocking, then turn on vet music box, kiss her goodnight, and walk away. She usually does well. Wake ups?
So far we are at 0 wakeups. This girl loves her sleep. But she is starting to fight naps more, so I'm worried. Any other info, questions, concerns? MH wants to convert her crib to the toddler bed. Since she is working on waking up dry, he says she needs to be able to get out of bed and go potty. But I just know that naps and bedtime will turn into a nightmare of bed getting out of bed over and over and over and over. Do not want.
Were doing well. Since it was raining all weekend and we were stuck at home I decided this would be the weekend to potty train. He's done amazingly well. He's been having 1-2 accidents a day. But today so far no accidents.
He's still in a crib. I have no desire to get him out.
He goes down around 7:45. Wakes up around 7 am. Doesn't eat up at night. I feel like putting him in a bed will change all of that. But once he's fully out of diapers, he'll need the access.

We're struggling. I'm struggling. We have gotten illness after illness. DS is testing me all the time. Ds2 is not sleeping bc he is so congested. It's just not a good scene. Small things feel big, big things feel insurmountable. It's a little better at this moment than it was earlier. I'm hoping it stays that way.
QOTW: Let's talk about bed!
What kind of bed is lo in? Only my 15m old is in a crib
What time is bedtime?
7 upstairs, in bed around 7:30 What is bedtime routine?
bath, every 2-3 days, prayers, books or a short video. All kids together, little guy leaves after prayers
Wake ups?
not from the bigs, unless someone is sick.
Any other info, questions, concerns? DS is fighting naps, dd is still fine with them. I am fighting tooth and nail to keep them. Today is the first day in a week that he has napped and it may just save us all. I am tapped. Fully, completely, undoubtedly. Shockingly.
I hope everyone else is having a better time of it.
We are good. It's been so warm here so we've been outside a lot and I love it.
I keep myself confused on these since H will be 4 next week and G will be 2 in July. This is H though, for one more week. I'm going to cry.
H is in a twin bed. He loves it and started sleeping better when we moved him. He was too scrunched in his toddler bed. We generally go to his room between 7:45-8 to rock in the rocking chair, something he's not ready to give up and neither am I. I usually lay him down by 8:10 at the latest. That's when we talk about his day and wind down. He doesn't wake up most nights. Every once in a while, he'll have a nightmare and come crawl into my bed.

- Up and down. My girl is getting into a pretty defiant phase, so that is pretty frustrating, but is also making some progress with potty training, so yay on that!
QOTW: Let's talk about bed!
What kind of bed is lo in? - one of those cribs that has been converted to a bed with a low rail. She has been in it for about a year.
What time is bedtime? - between 7 and 7:30 (depends on the amount of stalling that is happening, haha)
What is bedtime routine? - bath or shower most nights, potty, pj's, brush teeth, two stories, two somersaults (one in the bed and one on the rug, lol), make sure her 10,000 animals plus two backpacks (!) are in the bed, hug, kiss, lights out.
Wake ups? - She gets up soooo early, but generally is content to play in her room. I saw the light under her door at 4:45AM one morning when I got up to pee. !!! Generally she seems to be up between 5:30 and 6.
Any other info, questions, concerns? - Still need to break my child's pacifier habit. Ugh. It is only for naptime and bedtime, but it needs to go. Any advice on doing this is welcome.
olenka I explained to him that once he turned 2, his pacifier won't work anymore. So we celebrated his second birthday, and then the following day, I cut all of them and he found them and kept saying "oh no". I said see, it doesn't work now that you're two. He got up and examined each one before putting them in the trash himself. He didn't nap that day and bedtime was difficult but he slept. And that was that. He hasn't had it in over a year and we've had zero issues. He's never mentioned it since.

Everyone here is good. The girls are officially signed up for preschool in the fall. They'll be going three mornings a week. Friends of ours are sending their son to the same place, so we deliberately did the same schedule so our kids will have a friend or two to make the transition easier.
QOTW: Let's talk about bed!
What kind of bed is lo in? Daybed with a railing on the open side. They've had it like that since last May when they started escaping their cribs in earnest.
What time is bedtime? 8-9pm. Depends on how long the bedtime routine takes. Some nights they are in bed at 8:30 and the monitor doesn't go silent until after 10 though.
What is bedtime routine? TV off, go upstairs, teeth brushing with Daddy (they only want him for it), Mommy reads a story, Daddy reads a story, into bedtime diapers over the panties (just in case, so I don't have to wash sheets in the middle of the night), potty with Daddy (again, they only want him to do it), goodnight hugs and kisses, into bed, tuck in, last hugs and kisses, lights out, door shut. Some nights we will throw in using one of the light projectors they have (we have Dory, Elsa, and stars) if they are being good/the routine has gone quickly enough. They also have a light up moon on the wall that gets turned on just before we shut the door.
Wake ups? Once in a while someone will have a bad dream and cry, or just have a rough time sleeping. Ashley will wake up once in a while in the middle of the night - either when I check on them before I go to bed or will call for me over the monitor - and need to use the potty. Kayla usually sleeps through, but if she does wake, I will offer the potty to her, but she's not quite fully trained yet and will decline as often as she accepts. Most nights we sleep straight through until 8-9am.
Any other info, questions, concerns? Potty training is killing me. Ashley is fully trained and will tell me when she has to go. Kayla stays dry during the day but refuses to tell me when she has to go. She'll either wait until her sister says she has to go or I tell everyone that it's "potty time." She also hates pooping on the potty and will go days in between poops - which, of course, means big, uncomfortable poops when she does finally go. We've done rewards and a promise of a special toy when she's fully trained. I'm getting nervous because they have to be fully trained and completely self sufficient before preschool.
Have you tried glitter? Sprinkle a little glitter in the potty and tell her how exciting it is to get to poop on fairy dust. Sounds so weird. But it worked with both of mine.

Thanks! I have never heard of this but it sounds awesome! Now I have to see if I still have any glitter in the house...
