I have no motivation to work today! I'm meeting my family for dinner tonight since my sister is in town and I can't wait! I'm also hoping my step mom will set the date for the baby shower since it feels like we're running out of time.
Baby boy has found my ribs and it's not pleasant. We typically eat dinner on the couch and I couldn't bend over far enough last night to eat lol. I guess we'll be eating at the table more often if he decides to camp out at my ribs.
It's so nice and warm out today, and I'm sad because I didn't get to bike to work today. But I did find time for a short walk after lunch. Hopefully I can convince DH to get the bike out of the basement so I can do a 8-10 mile ride this weekend!

I keep thinking today is Friday, but it's not. I went to yoga this morning and then mowed our backyard since it was getting out of hand. Planning on a run tonight with our brewery run club. Besides that not much going on. DS is hopefully going to take a good nap today so I can watch Netflix.
Our dog has been limping so today he went to the vet, he's still there after sedation for an x-ray. The vet said he may not need surgery and we're going to "rehab" him at home for two weeks, I'm crossing all my fingers and toes that he doesn't need surgery because we just don't have that kind of money with the new baby coming.
If it's not one thing, it's another! I just wish the vet wasn't so expensive, I understand why it is but it still stings.

lupincat, I always dread having to take my cats to the vets because it always costs more than I think it should and it's always at the most inopportune time financially. I'm just waiting for one of them to get bladder stones again so I can pay for that surgery for the fourth time. I figure it should happen sometime around when my hospital bills start rolling in.

I saw the MW today and asked her about the burning pain I have been getting on the left side of my abdomen. She said it's common and is not likely to get better before I deliver. She said it is one of the few things that sticks out in her mind from when she had her first child was the same exact pain. I think my heating pad is going to be my best friend for the next few weeks.
txcatlady we now eat at the table too. I miss the couch! But it's good practice for DD to eat at a real table for when we go to other people's homes lol
txcatlady, mcp6286 DH bought me a tv table so I can sit on the couch! Woohoo! Thanks Walmart and DH!
Ugh, I keep getting a burning pain in my back and leg. I'm assuming baby boy gets on my sciatic nerve when I sleep.
I also have no motivation lately. Not for work at least. I got this way when I was pregnant with DD, but I really really wish I could be a SAHM. My brain just can't stop thinking about being at home with my kiddos.
In good news, my professor said the stuff I'm doing on my novel is really good! He even wants his teenage daughter to read it. (I'm writing YA.) I feel so happy!
The place I ordered from, they just needed a prescription from my OB and my insurance info, and they took care of the rest. They were also able to tell me what my insurance covered and how much upgrades would cost.
setsuna17 I just called my insurance to ask what was covered. They gave me 3 choices of in network medical supply companies to order from and said it would be covered as long as I used an in network supplier.

Hm, a prescription... I suppose I should ask my MW about that.
It would be great if I didn't have to call my insurance company. Where did you buy yours from?
I do need to check if my insurance will "cover" a 32 week ultrasound, so I suppose I do need to call them, although I highly doubt that I will get a reliable answer from them. Ugh.
I got mine from Cambridge Medical Supply. They were exceedingly helpful over the phone. But yes, you definitely need a prescription from your OB or MW.
PirateCat I needed an RX for my pump too and it was so easy to get, I didn't even go into my OB's office for it. I just called with the info from the insurance company and what they required and my OB office took care of the rest.
I just want to share with you all that I got the results back from my 3-hour GTT and I do not have gestational diabetes! I'm so relieved and way too tempted to just go out and go crazy on the sweets lol. Anyway it was incredibly warm here today so took DD outside to play on the swingset in our backyard - she recently learned how to climb the little rock wall thing on the side and is very enthused about that. On an unrelated note, so glad tomorrow is Friday, this week is taking way too long...
