What does everyone use to keep their toddlers from opening door knobs? We are almost at that point so want to go ahead and baby proof those so he's not rummaging through the pantry or throwing things into the toilet while I'm nursing DD.
We have knob covers. But the turkey has figured out how to pop them off. Luckily he can't turn the knob yet...our doors that are handles all of locks that are higher up that we leave locked.

The lady that owned our house before us ran an in home daycare. She had her husband put little pieces of stained wood near the top of all the doors downstairs so that she could turn them and effectively "lock" the doors without having to lock them. We don't have knobs on the doors, just the lever handle things.

I would like to think he will listen and not do these things but he's an extremely curious kid so I'm not going to be surprised when it becomes an issue. He can already unlock our back sliding glass door but he can't open it yet.

We have just the basic safety first knob covers. He can reach the doorknobs right now but can't turn them and her certainly can't figure out the doors with the safety covers yet. We only have them on the basement and Hs office door so far.
