Good morning ladies!
I woke up to pee at 4 and haven't been able to fall back asleep. It is now 545 and I think I need to just give up on the sleep idea and go make some coffee!

We have a big wooden lot across the street owned by the city. So I guess this pot growing lab or whatever is eyeing it in case legalized marijuana gets passed here. No no no no no no no

I defintely wouldn't want that in my neighborhood. I hope it doesn't happen.
I must've put the diaper on wrong because she woke up a few minutes later covered soaking wet. Sleepy brain. Now she is asleep in my lap on the rocking chair. She grew out of this just after she turned one. It is nice.
In the next installment of the cleaning person saga, she sent me an email last night at midnight to tell me she's mailing a check on Friday. WTF? It's been a month with zero communication and now she's sending out a check? I don't trust that this check will clear even a little bit. I've already disputed the charges and it makes me wonder if she even realizes it happened.

That's so bizarre! Are you going to respond to her?

I overslept, DH is still at work with his trainee (usually he is home by 8), and LO is extra needy today. Going to be one of those days where I just check emails and don't actually bill anything til tonight when she's in bed. Ugh.

But if it's legalized, it's not like it's going to be a hotbed of crime or anything. They'd have to be regulated by the state and all. And realistically, you don't know who's illegally growing pot in their house anyway. Your next door neighbor could be growing it, and there have been plenty of cases where people have planted pot in corn fields amidst the rows because it's covered once the corn starts growing. I mean, it's not like someone's eyeing up the land for a meth lab.
My UO for this would be that I wouldn't be bothered by a pot farm across the street or next to me, as long as it's legalized.

So why not mail that check now, like she should've done weeks ago? She sounds super shady. I'd probably try to cash it directly, as in not depositing it directly into an account, because I wouldn't be able to trust her and all.

It's not as cold as it was yesterday, but is still cold. I know I"ll be eating my words later when the humidity comes roaring back, but at this point I'd rather deal with that than this polar air shit. Ideally, though, I just want spring to arrive. I'm beyond ready.

I don't know! I haven't decided what to do about it yet. I feel like I'm in a weird place because even if I decide to accept the check, it will probably bounce because of the dispute that I put on the account. Ah, the irony. Part of me just wants it to be over and to accept the lesser amount just so I never have to think about it again. I guess I should see if they check actually shows up first. I also don't feel very strongly that it will since she hasn't followed through on anything else. No matter what I decide, I'm pretty sure I'm going to make her stew for a month since that's what she did to me.

I kind of hope we have another 2 hour delay tomorrow. We had one yesterday because of the extreme cold, and had another today (which doesn't affect me since I'm not working today) because of the snow overnight. I have no idea what the excuse would be for tomorrow, but if it means a shortened day, I'm all for that.

My thought exactly. I don't even check the temp anymore its too upsetting. I need the warmth back.

Totally understand the indecision! I'm not sure what else to do either, but letting her stew for a month would probably be what I'd do as well. I can be passive aggressive like that lol.

IKR? And it doesn't even have to be super warm, just enough to get by with a cardigan all day, or just needing something light for the morning and ditching it by the afternoon. It makes life so much easier that way.

Yep I'll be happy when the low of the day is 45 or above lol. I plan on wearing shorts the second its 55 at this rate lol

Even legalized, people still want it and want to steal it. We had a medical place not too far from my old house and it was riddled with criminal activity. There were constant break-ins, a couple of shootings and was generally a public nuisance because then all the people would get their weed and hang out on the sidewalks and streets in the area smoking up and just kind of littering the neighborhood with their loitering. I take no issue with the legalization of marijuana but until it becomes as commonplace as alcohol, a dedicated dispensary is still going to be a beacon to ne'er–do–wells.

Bahahahahahaha! I'm not sure I could do full shorts yet, but capris for sure. Jeans and yoga pants are always a good option, but I'm looking forward to capris again. Of course this all means I'll have to go back to shaving regularly. Ah well, I guess everything has it's drawbacks.

Haha I care way more about shaving in the winter than I do the summer. I love fresh shaved legs with fleece pants. In the summer the only reason I care is my hair is so blonde it shines in the sun light lol.
I want panera so effing bad. H is home with us so I don't want to ruin his part of the day with DD by taking her anywhere. I guess I can wait til tomorrow. Le sigh

I guess I still see it as anything else, because there are plenty of break ins and robberies at liquor stores etc. I can see why there would be more criminal activity if recreational use wasn't legalized, because it's still off limits to a huge chunk of the population. With full legalization, I still don't see a facility being any more of a crime magnet than liquor stores or even convenience stores with cigarettes.

I wish I had really blonde hair on my legs so I could get away with not shaving as fast. The feel of fresh shaved legs with fleece pants really is amazing, though, but still isn't quite enough to trigger me to stop being lazy lol.
