I'm currently 27 weeks 5 days. Yesterday I had my 1 hour GTT and antibodies test. So Monday at my appointment I'll find out if I passed or failed, as well as, get my Rohgam shot. I can't believe I'm almost 28 weeks.
Thanks for the check-in luvboston. pinkmickey24, fingers crossed you passed your tests!
I'm 13wks,1dy. I had a big scare two nights ago - and if you saw my AW over on the PAIF check-in then feel free to skip this.
At about 5:30pm on Thursday I started having really bad stomach pains - I honestly thought I was having horrible gas pains. I was curled up on the floor for a bit and told my husband "I just need to poop or puke and I think I'll feel better!" I laid down around 6pm and shortly after felt a gush of blood. I continued having these gushes & filled two overnight pads in 30mins. Called my Dr. who said to head to the ER.
Loooong story short (we didn't get home until 5:30am) both the babies are good with strong heart rates. I was so relieved I was crying on the ultrasound table. They discovered a large SCH on (or around? The details on that are fuzzy) Baby B's placenta. I was also put on IV fluids and given the Rhogam shot. The ER Dr has told me to lay low over the weekend and try to rest and not lift my DS as much as possible. He said that this could resolve on its own but sometimes the SCH can take over the fetus, which has me so nervous. I see my OB for a follow-up on Monday morning.
I'm just so grateful we have our babies - I really thought things were over for one or both of them. Also my DH and baby boy are troopers who waited in the ER waiting room for 6hrs (WAY past DS's bedtime) and then after that ended up sleeping in the car for a lot of the night. Its tough not having any family around. Some ladies on the board have shared their positive outcome stories with SCH's so I'm really praying mine follows suit and is absorbed/dissolved.

dashuria I am glad babies checked out doing well. I have no experience with SCH, but I hope you are able to take it easy this weekend until your appointment on Monday.
Can I jump in on this check in? I'm joining late mostly because I struggle to find time to TCF and second because I'm still a little in denial.
I am 11 weeks today with a surprise BFP due 9/16. I have had one ultrasound at 8w4d that showed one squirmy little baby right where it's suppose to be. We moved an hour away since being pregnant with K and I was going to try to go back to the same hospital, but my Dr. really encouraged me to try one of the hospitals closer to where we are now. So I have an appointment with a new OB on Tuesday. I'm a little nervous trying somewhere new but this place comes highly recommended so hopefully it'll be fine.
Hey ladies. I'm 5w2d today and scared as shit. I've read the mantras and of course reminded myself of them since I got a BFP but my symptoms have pretty much cleared up with the exception of my breast being tender which could be from the crinone supplements. So I'm worried this might mean something. I went from being nauseous the day before my BFP... to like totes normal. I'm probably over thinking it but scared nonetheless. We have an u/s with our RE since she's monitoring us on 3/7 @2pm and I need this date to approach as quickly as possible. Different RE but same practice and I really like her so far. Idk. Sorry I'm such a downer today 😰😔😭
Since I am mobile I'll be back to tag and leave comments.

Dashuria - I'm glad the babies are ok! Get some rest and take it easy.
Luvboston- thanks for the check in!
I'm 25 weeks + 1 day today and am ecstatic to have made it this far with no issues. I had pre-e with my daughter at 38 weeks, and I'm hoping to avoid that this time around.
We will spend the next 4 weeks getting ready (cribs, gates, etc).

Lurking...
dashuria how scary! I'm glad the babies are okay! I had a 7cm SCH that was between the placenta and uterine wall until I was 15w (it formed when I was 5 weeks). With the placement of mine, they were worried that it could cause the placenta to detach. I had bleeding off and on for weeks. They had me on pelvic rest and modified bed rest until it resolved. It was really hard with a toddler, but we survived (with a lot of help, thankfully). Are you able to do some bed rest until you see your doctor? I only got up to eat and go to the bathroom.
karabear4409, thanks for sharing your experience, it gives me hope! I'm eager for my appt tomorrow to see the status of the SCH. They didn't tell me the exact size, just that it was "large". I've been keeping my feet up as much as possible the last couple days but unfortunately I'm alone with my 16month old right now for 48hrs. We have been reading lots of books on the couch and he's had more screen time than normal...oh well. And I'm trying to only lift him if absolutely necessary.
aves0708, congrats!! I hope you like the new OB. I'm sure it will take some stress away having a Dr and hospital close by.
carsaidyes, hang in there! This pregnancy has been one big ball of anxiety and nerves and sleepless nights, so you're not alone. I really hope your appt with the RE comes super fast and you have great news when you go.

Well my appointment went well. My c-section date was moved one day due to my doctors schedule, so if baby girl stays put she will be coming on her brothers' birthday. I have to do the 3 hour GTT because they look for a number below 140, and lucky me my level was 140. She said it is unlikely I will fail the 3 hour. Also, they are keeping an eye on my blood work as my platelets are just below the normal range.

That's so annoying you have to do the 3-hour just for one point off. They honestly have the one hour test way too sensitive.

I was hoping to be done with the GTT. It just stinks that I'm going to have to take a half day now.
