We're doing house projects today and our crib is coming!! My bff who is like a sister is coming over for lunch and to help bring in the crib. And she told me yesterday she is engaged!! I don't love the guy but I'm trying to be supportive cause she's totally family. He's very cool it's just a little codependent which is hard to watch.
Also TMI warning. DW and I barely ever have sex but did last night (which was great lol) but literally I thought I couldn't walk after, like my pelvis was going to fall apart. And I didn't even move that much during it lol lol!! DW felt so bad.

Good morning! Getting a crib is exciting. It definitely feels more real having a crib in the house.
I've got a bunch of touch-up painting to do in the nursery before we can really start getting things settled in and organized. I am looking forward to getting it set up.
H and ILs arrive in the afternoon so I've got a bunch of cleaning to get done too. Boo.
H is home today so our plan is to finish painting the dresser for the baby's room. We made a ton of progress this week and the room is almost done! We just have to finish the dresser and find a throw rug. The blinds should be in in a week or two and I have tie backs for the curtains coming today. I'll have to AW some pictures of everything.
rosesquared Yeah the last time H and I did the deed I definitely regretted it the next day!
H is going down to Ikea to get DS's new bed but we're not moving him into it for another month or so. Other than that, quiet day here on the home front. We're supposed to have strong storms this afternoon so we'll probably stay in.

Hi ladies,
Nothing super exciting over here today. Putting together toddler bed/crib for the almost 2 year old and running errands.
Started to notice some swelling in legs today. Nothing extreme but is anyone else at this point? I'm 27+5 but paranoid and probably hypervigilent because I had pre-e with first baby.

I've started getting some foot swelling especially if I've been on my feet a lot. I didn't have pre-e last time so I don't know much but just letting you know I've been starting to swell some too. Doesn't hurt to mention it at your next appointment!

Yes, STM+ will most likely swell earlier. Compression socks and up your water
I am taking the kids to the pool because DH is working, and it is cold out. I really am dreading it, but they have fun, and get out so yeah.
Anyone having repetitive dreams their SO is cheating on them or going to leave them . It is a pregnancy thing for me, happens each time. I don't think he is IRL, there is nothing to suggest it, and he is home ever minute he is not at work, so no time to even haha. I am not worried about it really happening, but I seem to dream about it while pregnant a lot.
Lazy day for me! Well, sorta. Zumba, hair appt, lunch and dinner out. I'm pumped. In-laws are keeping the girls tonight. So here's to some adult time. I need to go shopping for a belt so I might drag Dh to the mall. Wish me luck
I'm cracking up that you call that a lazy day!! 😉

My sister came last night to pick up a piece of furniture I've been storing for her... for like 3 yrs. so it was nice to get that out of the nursery! DH and I cleaned out the rest of the random junk from the nursery last night and found a place for most things. Although now that I'm getting out of breathe going up the stairs at our house DH has decided I need to not lift anything. So that's been fun....
My dad is on his way over and is bringing the crib and changing table! I can't wait! It's starting to feel real. My stepmom was saying she has a ton of other baby things so we might get a lot of hand me downs, which would be great! She was going to look through what she had that wasn't pink🙂

Hi, ladies! We're heading home from a birthday party and then nothing else scheduled for the rest of the weekend. DD had a great time bowling at the party. Every time she rolled the ball, she would shout "I win! I win!" It was quite cute.
rosesquared, H and I haven't had sex much this pregnancy but the last time, I was so sore after and it was just less enjoyable for me. Our poor spouses!
tortor4 serious nursery envy here! I planned to finish ours today after a visit from our landlord. However, she came by to say that they are putting the house on the market and want us to break our lease and be out by June 1 if they find a buyer 😠So now DH wants to just move before LO arrives. I'm so irritated that we have to deal with this out of the blue so close to LO's arrival!

mcp6286 omg that's horrible! I'm not sure what state you're in but here in MA a lease can't just be broken like that. They'd have to give you some serious incentive money to warrant that type of deal. Good luck whatever you decide!

rosesquared yes legally we can stay till Aug 30, they can't make us leave. I think we might barter with them that we will move out in April if they put up our security/first month rent at our new place. DH would rather move before baby instead of after, and the owners are confident they can sell within 3 months.

mcp6286 ugh I'm sorry that you have to deal with that right now. I hope that it all works out for the better and that you find an even better place soon.

Yes! I thought I was the only one. I sometimes wake up ticked at him over a dream. I blame the hormones
