My sister asked me this weekend if I had gotten out by maternity shirts yet. I was a little taken back by yet. But looking at myself this morning...I probably could start wearing maternity shirts. I'm only 12 weeks!!!! #thirdbaby

+1. Although in an ideal world I would switch to maternity wear in the late afternoon. Mine is mostly bloat & is just a small bump in the mornings. By afternoon I feel 6months along already.

I need this cold to go away. I'm super crampy today, but think it's either RLP (my ute feels super heavy all of a sudden). I remember when I was KU with DD it was super uncomfortable when my ute was coming out of my pelvis, so wondering if that's happening now and causing some of the heavy feeling. The cramping could also be from all the coughing/sneezing I've been doing for almost 2 weeks.
My friend is sending me her doppler. I'm so hoping it arrives today. Otherwise, I have my OB appt Wednesday so I'm sure we'll listen for the heartbeat then. This is the longest we've gone without seeing the baby so I'm going a little crazy.

I have afternoon bloat too. I have been wondering if when I actually get a bump if I will carry high because even though I have been bloated I can still wear all of my pants, even my high waisted ones.

Wow guys- where was my brain this morning?! So sorry for the confusion!! I have no idea where that came from- obviously not paying that much attention this morning.
ETA- I tried to fix it and multiple times it said success but it still shows up the old dates. Maybe I just have to wait for it to update or else someone needs to tell me how to change it or we can just delete and start over...
I don't think you can fix it from Tapatalk, but maybe from a computer. Otherwise, a Mod can fix it.
I decided to go have a chat with HR today regarding maternity leave and my vacation time for this year and it went really well! I'm so relieved, I expected it to be bad bad bad.
And then I treated myself to 3 Samoas. I need my CW to look away so I can snag some more.
We were with my sister and family this weekend. They were talking about Chinese food. DH came home today at lunch and said something about bringing home Chinese tonight if I was ok with it. Yes!!! I'm so tired and worn out from being gone this weekend. It's nice to not have to make supper.
This is for if y'all thought I was kidding about wearing all the babies. This is my 4.5 year old. In a brand new preschool kinderpack. He always wants piggy backs but doesn't hold on. Baby carrier win. Or kid or whatever

I'm seriously considering a ring sling for this new LO. I may try to make one myself -- if not, I'd definitely like to support a WAHM who makes them. I've been doing some research. It looks like getting baby in a ring sling will be even easier than using the K'tan. Plus, I've heard baby can breastfeed in a sling! Bonus.

I loved my ring sling when my daughter was itty bitty

@wicky, been there done that with other kids. I do not like for other kids to mistreat my kids and I will step in and take care of the situation without a second thought. Half the time the other parent is on their phone not paying attention. Lord help anyone that hurts/mistreats one of my kids because I'm a fierce mama bear.

I was thinking about this too. I nursed DS in the wrap a few times but it was tricky to get him situated. What carriers are good for nursing? Any thoughts?

I nurse L in the ergo all the time. It's super easy. I just loosen the straps so his head is level with my boobs. I use my cover too, mainly to keep him from being distracted but you don't even really need a cover. When L was younger and had chronic ear infections he wouldn't nurse laying down so I had to nurse him in my ergo. He was upright so it didn't hurt his ears as bad. It was the only way he would nurse away from the house too.
Also, I have a woven and I couldn't ever figure out how to nurse in that. It's just too complicated. Nursing in the k'tan isn't hard but you have to take them out and put them through the loops a whole different way. A ring sling would work for a newborn and younger baby but not an older baby. Nursing in he ergo has allowed me to keep up with my toddler. Like, literally running after her without having to stop nursing. It's been a lifesaver.

Ergo, ring sling, boba wrap, I could nurse in anything...

I'm pulling a pregnancy brain moment. I picked up my prescription on Fri for my UTI. Today, I realized I was supposed to be taking it twice a day. Whoops.
And now I have a yeast infection from said antibiotic. Grr.

Hi ladies. Sorry for being gone all week, work has been INSANE. Will be around all day catching up on what I have missed. Sitting in the waiting room for my cerclage as we speak. Looking forward to a day of bed rest and Netflix Oh and also to be sure this babe is stitched in tight. That's important too.
DD lost and born 9/18/2013 at 24 weeks (Trisomy 18) DS born 6/16/2015 (at 39 weeks 6 days, after emergency cerclage at 23 weeks and 14 weeks of bed rest)

You guys must have bigger boobs than me lol. I could never figure out nursing in any kind of carrier last time. I had to have DS in the exact perfect position or he would unlatch.

@wicky, I would. $30 is so cheap too. I like ring slings because they are easy. I used my woven religiously with DD but bc of Logan's high maintenance needs the ergo was the easiest to use for him so I use it daily. I would have gone insane using my woven with him, lol.
I wish I had a woven ring sling but I can't afford that expense right now.

I'm a small B when not nursing /pregnant. Once my milk regulates I'm a C. I usually hold my boob up to his face to keep it positioned for him.

If you want to make your own ring sling it is SO easy. There's a website that sells rings that are load tested specifically for the slings. I made mine for about $14.
