Hi ladies. Sorry for being gone all week, work has been INSANE. Will be around all day catching up on what I have missed. Sitting in the waiting room for my cerclage as we speak. Looking forward to a day of bed rest and Netflix Oh and also to be sure this babe is stitched in tight. That's important too.
Good luck today! Glad you have an early appointment. Enjoy a day of rest.
Thank you! All done already, just waiting to pee so they will let me. Go home.

At my last appointment I had blood work taken for the Verify test and the trio panel. My Dr. called today with results (cue panic attack because they typically only call with bad news). The trio came back negative which is great but they somehow "accidentally cancelled" the verify test. So now I have to take another afternoon off of work to get more blood drawn. How does that even happen. Not a big deal just a pain in the ass.
If you want to make your own ring sling it is SO easy. There's a website that sells rings that are load tested specifically for the slings. I made mine for about $14.
Thanks for the tip! I may attempt one of these. I looked up a tutorial and it looks pretty simple. What type of fabric did you use?

That's ridiculous! So sorry you have that inconvenience. Great news on the trip results though!

I made one out of linen and it's so wonderful! You can find some good lists online that talk about what kind of fabric is best.

I'm totally doing this. I briefly looked it up last night and it looked easy.

I've been laying low the past week or two until my appointment tomorrow. I have missed posting though, but my anxiety has been awful so I had to step back. I so hope for a strong heartbeat tomorrow and can stay here and hang with you ladies for the rest of this pregnancy.
Anyone have a doppler check at 10 weeks and had success? My OB said if they can't find it with the doppler, then I will get an u/s. She was pretty confident that they would find it though.
I'm feeling the same way right now. Anxiety is really killing me right now. My loss with ds was at 16 weeks, so I don't think I'll be able to relax at all until then. But even then I'm not sure it'll be much better.

@mattsgirl2004 I had a doppler check with DD at 10 weeks and we heard the heartbeat. My appointment with this baby was 11 and we heard it. But the doctor assured me it's early and that she would order an u/s if we didn't. Praying for good results tomorrow!!!
@mattsgirl2004, I will keep you in my T&Ps. I hope everything goes well! If your other appointments are any indication, I'm sure everything will be fine!

Please please please tell me I just ate something or have a stomach bug. Today I've felt like crap and this evening I feel terrible (on the verge of puking). I'm praying this isn't a pregnancy thing that's going to stick around, 2nd tri is supposed to be better, not worse

I hope it isn't pregnancy related. Fx you feel better tomorrow.

I was feeling the same on Sunday night and was terrified that MS was back. But it cleared up.... hope the same is true for you!

Sorry to hear your anxiety has been tough. Sending good vibes for your appointment tomorrow and I hope good results will allay some of your stress!

Ugh, what a pain. My MW took blood for my combined screening during my regular appointment last week and then called the next day to say that I had to get to re-drawn because she didn't know that the blood needed to be centrifuged within three hours of collection for that test. Oops.
@mattsgirl2004, my last pregnancy, my doctor didn't even try with the Doppler until 16 weeks. Prior to that, they checked hear rate with the ultrasound. She said it just made people anxious to try the Doppler first.

Symptoms question...anyone else feel like their hips are being pulled apart? I've been kind of crampy, but then woke up this morning and my hips feel like they're being ripped apart. I'm assuming it's growing pains, but figured I'd check with you ladies. Luckily I have a dr appt today

I haven't yet with this pregnancy but I'm pretty sure I did with the others.
I announced at work yesterday (except my actual boss, we don't see him often and he's not back in the office until tomorrow so he'll find out then) and I'm sooooo glad to not have to keep it a secret anymore. I'm great with other peoples' secrets, not so much with my own lol
I've given in. I'm wearing maternity shirts over here.
I've got maternity leggings on today.
I have 3 tops that flow at the waist so I've been sticking with those and a loose fitting dress. I can also fit into 2 of my pants, but in the next two weeks that may not work.

I haven't yet but with my second I had a lot of aches and pains early on. By the time I delivered I couldn't even walk bc my hips hurt so bad. It took 6 months to recover PP too. I hope this isn't what's going on with you.

My nausea and tiredness have seriously ramped up over the past 2-3 days. I just feel awful. I even had to take zofran twice today on top of the diclegis. I'm 11+1 and I thought I'd be starting to feel better soon!
Does BRU or somewhere else maybe let you try on carriers? I had a moby with DS but he did not like it and I was too uncoordinated to keep at it lol. I'd like an ergo this time arouns but I worry bout it fitting.

See if you have a local BWing group. Ours has a lending library where you just pay a deposit and can borrow a wrap or carrier for a week. They also have meetings where you can try out different wraps and carriers. I've found them to be super helpful and a nice way to get to know others with kids around the same age too!
