bewise I believe the general recommendation is to keep it under 200mg of caffeine in a day, so depending on type of coffee, it could be a couple cups. I'm sorry it was such a rough night for you guys!
So this is random, but is anyone else keeping tabs on the giraffe in labor webcam? I think I need a life
I'm quickly losing interest. I follow the park she is at on Facebook and I just read their daily updates. I'm beginning to think it's some sort of publicity stunt...last i saw they were starting to sell tshirts. 🙄
Me: 29 DH: 35 NTNP since May 2013 charting since June 2014 dx: Graves disease (radioactive iodine), Crohns disease (abdominal surgeries) MMC October 2015 (9 weeks) Severe MFI diagnosis July 2015
So I failed my one hour diabetes screening, pretty badly. I figured I failed because I felt super sick after drinking it. Just wondering for those who failed before (badly) if they made you do the screening again or if they just diagnose you.

What was your number? You'll have to fail the 3 hour test to get diagnosed. Lots of people from what I've read fail the one hour test and do ok on the 3 hour. Don't worry just yet! I'm taking the 3 hour test tomorrow.
Okay, I'm second-guessing our stroller decision. We originally wanted to go with the Baby Jogger Vue Lite because it's an umbrella stroller which has the option of parent-facing (the biggest thing I want in a stroller). It's super lightweight and not expensive.
However, now I've been thinking about logistics of getting baby to daycare, I'm going to have my work bag, plus baby's bag (bottles, cloth diapers, etc), and the baby. The storage on the Vue is extremely small and uses velcro to hold it in place, so probably can't hold anything heavy. Reviewers were not fans of the basket.
Now I'm looking at the Mamas & Papas Armadillo Flip because you can fold it while parent-facing. Any experience with this stroller or know of another smaller/lighter-weight stroller you can fold while parent-facing? DNW to have to remove the seat every time to fold it.
The only other one I've found you can fold parent-facing is the Bugaboo Bee and it's about $200 more than the Armadillo Flip and doesn't stand on its own (Flip does).

Close to 20 mmol, I suppose I'll be taking the three hour too. Boooo, I was hoping to avoid drinking it again, I've had the worst aversion to sugar this whole pregnancy and I was so sick the rest of the day yesterday. Did you feel any different during/after yours?

I felt a little nauseated but not too bad. I'm worried about drinking it all on an empty tummy though!

On the topic of air travel, also be sure to check with your insurance! Some insurances won't cover the cost of an out of network birth if you go into labor while traveling if you are past a certain amount of weeks. I'm sure 29 weeks will be fine regardless. It's probably closer to the 35-36 week mark, but it's something to be aware of.

MH just told me that he thought he'd told me before that he can't come to my U/S next Wednesday. Nope, that's news to me. I understand, of course, since it is finals week (teacher), but... I scheduled it that day at that time because he would only need to take a half day off, and it his birthday and I thought he'd enjoy it. I would have scheduled it for another day or time, especially as there is a chance of slightly bad news (low amniotic fluid). I am disappointed. Also, now I guess I'll need to tag in both my parents now; one to watch DS and one to come with me.

I'm trying to figure out if I have a sinus infection or just bad pressure from a lingering cold. Ugh my whole ear was blocked Monday so dr said I could take afrin, said to elevate my head at night to allow fluid to drain better... well yesterday my jaw hurt and my teeth hurt. Woke up at 2am this morning in really bad pain. Teeth were throbbing on one side (bottom and top) felt like I'd just had 6 teeth pulled... weird, right? DH managed to find some Tylenol, which took a little edge off but I don't even think anything would have helped... and I will call dr again today. Just never had this before. It's better this morning I think but I can't risk another 2am meltdown.
trebletrouble13 - Sorry your H can't come at the last minute!
starsandshamrocks123 - I've never had sinus pain radiate to my jaw or teeth. That sounds awful. Definitely call this morning. Hope it gets better quickly!
OK so I booked our plane tickets this morning. BTDT ladies, please give me all the advice on flying with a 24 month old. Carseat or no carseat? Stroller to gate check? What snacks and activities kept the meltdowns away?
ETA: which stroller do I bring? My shiny new Uppa Baby Vista (its going to be our double when LO 2 arrives) or my trusty City Mini GT?

lulu783 yay for booking your trip! I forget where you are headed but guessing not too long of a flight? We flew to Disney with DS for his second birthday. This was our approach, might not work for everyone. Stroller and car seat. We have a Chicco Liteway that folds easily. We got one of those wheely things for the car seat so it would not need to be carried. It did its job but did get annoying as it was not a perfect fit for the car seat. DH boarded early and strapped the car seat in the plane. He failed, as the car seat needs to be in the middle seat for safety reasons and had to move it last minute. Anyway,I wheeled DS around until it was final boarding call and we were the last on. Checked the stroller at the end of the jetway. Very easy. I brought a new drawing toy for DS. One of those travel magnetic ones with the magnetic pen. We switched to the iPad halfway through and he was fine. I don't recall having a ton of snacks. He liked getting the treats from the flight attendants (animal crackers!!!) Luckily we had a ton of kids on our flight so he was not the loudest. We thought we had a magical child who was great on planes.
The flight back was awful! It was a culmination of 4 days of not napping and over excitedness. We booked flights for nap time thinking he'd sleep but the flight was an hour delayed and that put us in overtired category around 1:30. He screamed a lot... but oh well I could do nothing about it. If it was about 2 hours earlier we would not have had an issue 😬
cheezee you'll have to let me know how it does, I'm assuming I'll do mine on Friday
Almost done! Hasn't been as bad as I thought. I guess downing all that sugar curbs the hunger. They made me sit down in a recliner for a bit after I drank the stuff so I kept it down. Puking it up = repeat later so I really didn't want to do that! Then I got so so sleepy which they warned me would happen from the sugar crash. Now I'm just anxious to get my results. Good luck tomorrow!!

marshian I've been having congestion issues but now I'm paranoid that I lost a filling a while ago and it's a cavity causing it. Or are my sinuses just making my teeth hurt. Like what's causing what here. My OB does not want me to take the Sudafed!! I have a dentist appt next week that I was going to cancel (don't want to deal with gross stuff in my mouth) but damn now I'm all confused if I should go. But I also DNW x-rays or novacane.
