rach, ashiscute, catladymeow thanks for the support and tips. We do have one grocery store that does online orders but it's out of the way. Although a longer car ride might be worth not having to go in the store with a cranky toddler. My mom is coming on the weekend for a few days so I'm hoping she will load my fridge and freezer up with good food and I can just get by with quick trips to our corner grocery.

I found $125 in Walmart gift cards while unpacking this morning. I hate walmart, but... free money wins. I already spent $90 of it today getting some odds and ends.

Completely unrelated: What are your favorite drug store makeups? I refuse to spend money at Sephora since I don't wear makeup enough, but I'm looking for a good, everyday mascara and lipstick. (I prefer matte to glossy and long-wear is a bonus.)

I love this lipstick
It lasts all day and it's matte. I have it in a few colors and I love it. Top Tomato is the perfect red, but I also have the nude color and wear that to work.
amch8 , I'm a makeup junkie and have been known to spend ridiculous amounts on stupid stuff, but my everyday staples are basically all drugstore brands.
Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara (yellow tube) is my go to. As well as the Falsies (purple tube)
Wet n Wild eyeshadow trios (has the same pigmentation has Urban Decay $20) for $3. Love, love, love The Walking on Eggshells neutral palette. Cant recommend it enough! They also have a fairly good concealer stick that I used for awhile before switching to a more mosturizing (and $$) one from Benefit.

amch8 this is my favorite mascara. It's "tubes" so it stays on forever even in humidity or through sweat/tears, no raccoon eyes, and then washes off with water.
amch8, my go to mascara is Mabelline Lash Discovery. It has a smaller brush so I think easier to use and no clumps. My main issue is that the ends of my lashes are blonde so I need mascara for that reason. I don't need/want lengthening.

I've never had a class struggle this much.... I didn't do anything different this term so I'm not sure what went wrong. I have more people failing the class and their final projects on average are much lower than previous classes. I had a student email me this morning saying she would have everything in by Friday. I had to reply to tell her the term ended last night and we are not allowed to accept late work. Shortly after another student contacted me to ask if she's going to pass... the answer was no. Both were difficult to write because I'm a people pleaser.

I really hope next term is easier...
Does your school do end of term surveys? Maybe there would be helpful information there. It's also maybe just a bad group!
amch8 they do course evals and I'm hoping it shows something. We provide videos describing each assignment, written instructions/rubric, worksheets for a majority of the assignments plus completed examples. Not sure what else I can do to help them.
Usually, my evals are outstanding so we will see what this class will say.
On a scale of 1-10 how stupid is it to buy a white bedding set? I assume very considering my GSD mix likes to snuggle?
We got a white knit blanket for our wedding, and it looks pretty ratty at this point (8ish years later). I'm in the process of making us a new one. It just doesn't get clean anymore. We do have 2 black cats that are fond of laying on it when we leave the door open, but just accumulated dirt has not helped either...

NST went ok, but baby's heart rate was lower than it has been, so they sent us for a BPP, which she passed in 10 minutes. And her heart rate was back up. I'm now 3 cm dilated, and she offered to do a membrane sweep for me. So we shall see if it does anything. That was uncomfortable!
I have another NST and appointment for Monday, which I hope we won't need, but we'll schedule an induction at that point if baby still hasn't come.
And in between the NST and BPP I got a call that my great grandma is in the hospital. They think she has congestive heart failure. I guess it's to be expected for a 98-year-old, but I'm hoping she gets well enough to come home. She was so worried about living long enough to meet the baby, but I never even considered that it would be a question.
