DS went on the billi blankets for three days and was doing so badly when he was first admitted, the doctor took the decision out of my hands and he got formula - which in my mind saved his life.
I expressed (I'm crap at expressing) and hardly managed any (DS was 5 days old and my milk was barely in as he was too weak to feed in the first days), so didn't get much milk out.
However - once he recovered a little bit, I was still allowed to put him to the breast to let him try to feed and my milk supply was unaffected.
I went on to feed him for nearly 10 months.
Keep strong and don't put any pressure on yourself - give DD a cuddle from me x
springbeduk We had several schools in our area cancelled for a week before Christmas vacation due to a whooping cough outbreak. It was spreading all over northern WI during high school sporting events. Most of the kids were vaccinated.

Trying the blanket this weekend. If that doesn't work, I'll try formula. My supply is good right now, so hopefully it would keep up.

rainbowsockmonkey, Dh wants to turn ds car seat forward facing, I'm pushing for keeping it rear facing. Ds is well within the height and weight limits and his shoulders are below the max line. Dh is telling me that it's not helpful in rear end crashes and that ds is uncomfortable with his legs squished. Ds doesn't seem to care.
Anyway, can you point me to a reference online that he can read that explains why rear facing is best, even in rear end crashes, etc.?

Oh. My. Gosh. So much puke. Ds started screaming at 11pm. Went in to find him and his bed covered in puke. Calmed him down, changed everything, happened again several more times. It's 1 now and we are watching you tube videos sitting on a bunch of towels. He is miserable. Poor kiddo.

Oh no! Poor him and poor you! I hope this is a quick moving bug and is over soon. 🤢

DS is having the best time at McDonald's play place
It's the only indoor play place in our small city. We know the joys of the McDonald's play place well.
So well that O tells me when she gets a car she's going to drive to Old MacDonald's and buy chicken nuggets.
Does your little have trouble climbing up some of the levels? DS struggled but got there in the end. I've recently discovered our mall also has a tiny play place
I went downtown to the kids boutique and they had a dolls house for 30% off and I had a stamp card for $50 off so DS got a house and rain boots and I saved $100!
