Yay! Our playdate got cancelled because my 8 month pregnant friend had some bleeding last night. She and the baby are fine but she got home around 1am. So now we have zero plans until I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. Maybe I'll clean my house. Or maybe I won't. Who knows what today holds!? Definitely coffee since I'm apparently not myself without it.
I've got the second load of laundry in the wash already, the dishwasher running, and dusting started upstairs. But on the flip side my coffee is currently cooling on the kitchen table because DS insisted I sit on the couch with him, but also threw a tantrum when I wouldn't let him drink said coffee. I'm currently just working up the courage to get us to Toys R Us - this will either go really well, or really terribly.

I'm anxiously waiting for an Etsy package. It has a super cute headpiece/band that I bought for C to wear in her Easter pictures. It should be here soon!
Otherwise just the usual dance class and errands. .

This week has gone way too fast. Trying to decide between taking J to the museum that we haven't made it to this week, or taking a trip to ikea since my friend bailed on Wednesday. Hmm.
I only have to commute 20 more times! I start my new position right after my next vacation week, so in April. Then it's a 33 minute drive instead of 90.

Do I need to order one of these Nintendo Switches for H's birthday in a few weeks?
Funny random story, I went out to dinner with a friend last night and got some delicious Pho (pronounced Fuh). I brought home the leftovers and LO really wanted some so I put it in a bowl. He loved it and scarfed the heck out of it, but then was running around the rest of the night screaming "FUH! FUH!" which sounds like...you know. H and I were cracking up.
We just got back from a walk to the library. Wind was brisk but it's supposed to be a nice weekend, before going back to winter cold haha. DS is obsessed with I Spy or Look and Find books right now and getting DD into it too so we are spending lots of time hovering over those lately!
I have a bridal shower tonight at the rink (naturally), and we are having some friends over tomorrow for supper and drinks and board games for H's birthday! The kids made him cards this morning, we'll bake a cake tomorrow morning for our friend's, and his actual birthday is Sunday. So all around nice weekend planned!
Happy Friday everyone!
ETA oh and I'm super jacked that my Canada Parks Pass finally came in the mail yesterday and dreaming of our summer plans!
I feel like super mom right now, took both kids to the DMV and no one cried! Even got a compliment that E was well behaved! Thankfully we were in and out in less than 20 mins.
Our trip to Toys R Us went surprisingly well. DS loved wandering the aisles looking at the toys. The only crying happened when I eventually had to drag him away from all the balls. And he got the V-Tech space station that was on clearance, plus 15% off! Plus, I got Easter eggs and bubbles for his easter basket. What is everyone putting in the plastic eggs for their little ones? I was thinking Cheerios since he'd want to eat any and all candy immediately, and do not want him scarfing that much candy in the morning.
jillywilly we have to send filled eggs for the daycare & neighborhood egg hunts. I picked up fruit snacks. I haven't thought about what to put in the eggs W gets easter morning though.
This would be my inclination, but my kid is a weirdo who doesn't like fruit snacks. I figure worst case scenario, at this age, takin apart empty plastic eggs should be enough of a reward, lol.

We still haven't left the house yet today. I decided it wasn't a good idea to tackle ikea with J, and H is taking him to the museum this weekend. Instead, we took a two hour nap and Thomas and Friends are parenting while I clean the kitchen.
