Yup. Fifteen family members, all immediate. They haven't met C yet. And they're bringing all the food and drinks and kid entertainment. MH joked we should go to the movies when they get here LOL
Literally, we will do nothing tomorrow. Our family will do everything from bringing food to cleaning up. So blessed!

Both of my kids are asleep at the same time. Not sure what is my problem since I'm the crazy person not napping at the same time as them lol.
Both my kids are napping, I'm watching teen mom. Lol.
All of my kids are awake and I'm hiding in my room with the video monitor. The TV can take its turn. DD1 gets clingy when DH is away and I can't take another hour of her petting my head as she snuggles (read sits so high on my chest she's almost on my shoulder) while DD2 yells at me because I won't read "I can read with my eyes shut" for the 2 millionth time. Cue PBS. DS is happy enough in his chair.

We went out to pick up a couple of things at the store. Cue both DDs to have complete melt downs in the car on the way there. Going back home with two screaming children in tow.
I just got so excited about buying a bunch of little hair bows for DD and her glorious head of hair. I can't wait to put them on her. Yay amazon!! I never thought I would get excited about this kind of thing lol.
wildflower810, I am cheering you on big time today! I really hope this weekend is it for you
DH is forgiven from yesterday's thoughtless tired comment. He came home from work with flowers, ran a bath for me, took the littles for a few hours so I could sleep and then went out and got me Panera Bread. I may have cried happy tears a few times last night.
Can I just say how absolutely wonderful it is to be able to easily see and reach my feet, see and shave what I need to, sleep on my stomach without belly being in the way, or sleep on my back without baby weight crushing my lungs, and fitting into pre-preg jean?
Oh, body! How I've missed you! Now I just need you to stop bleeding, cramping, and lose about 20 more lbs.

wildflower810 labor vibes labor vibes labor vibes! MIL is here and showed up with Pink everything. Like a complete overload. And pink everything for her room, which was already done and she knew that. No I am not using your hot pink hamper and hot pink rug, I already have both and they actually match the room.

Baby is taking his time. Some ctx at four minutes apart, some longer between. It's something, though. Trying to keep a positive mental space right now.
I deleted my breastfeeding tracking app and I'm oddly lost and liberated at the same time.
I had to delete my tracking app too. I was becoming so fixated on how much and how long between feeds that it was making me a crazy person. Feeding on demand without knowing those other details is so much better! I'm a nurse so I'm all about the numbers and I was actually referring to the tracking as "charting".

Ha ha I'm a nurse too! How funny that I was doing the exact same thing....

My newborn is a unicorn. She is sleeping in the rnp and has been for 1.5 hours. Meanwhile, DS is running around the living room alternating between laughing, whining, and screaming and throwing toys on the floor. I know this won't last, but it sure is nice now...

Today is not looking like baby day. We got some good early labor contractions going, but they haven't progressed past that point. Probably will go to bed in a few hours and see what happens. I'm managing to stay positive, thankfully!

First oops as parents of 3 kids. I was feeding DS in the bedroom, DH was changing DD2 in her room and DD1 decided she'd go outside and play. With no GD pants on. DH heard the door shut and ran downstairs and found her outside. Apparently she "met some nice people on the sidewalk who said hi" to her. (To clarify, they were on the sidewalk, she was inside our fenced yard still on the porch when he caught her). God damn kids are slippery. And cue strange discussion of why we need both permission and pants to exit the house. FML.
littleredfish- That's awesome! Also it's my likely my future as well once LO1 gets braver and more comfortable with our neighbors.
She never would have imagined to go outside without asking before but lately she is all about testing her independence. Of course it had to be the kid who hates pants.
