1. It's been two months since the new year. How are you progressing on your long-term goals? Great. I'm 2 minutes away from my 10k goal, and I'm noticing a huge difference in strength and stamina. I love seeing arm muscles. 2. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week?Better. Although today isn't off till a good start. I have my water bottle with me and I'm going to try to finish it in the next hour. 3. What are your goals for this week? same. Better self care on the weekends. 4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? My runs this week were really miserable, until I sucked it up and took my inhaler. I really need to be better about using it. 5. GTKY: If you could choose just one, would you prefer a personal trainer or a personal chef? Personal trainer. I love cooking.
1. It's been two months since the new year. How are you progressing on your long-term goals? I've made decent progress and am in such a different mindset that I feel like January was long ago.
2. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? I did pretty well overall. I was too tired to finish my workout Thursday but did almost all of it. I just couldn't do deadlifts at 9:30pm.
3. What are your goals for this week? Avoid eating ALL the frosting when I make cakes on Saturday? Stay at or under calorie goals, drink more water, make it through all the workouts.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? AW: I went to the doctor on Friday to get a refill for my inhaler. When she was listening to my lungs, prior to any conversation about my level of workouts, she asked if I was working out often because my pulse was slow and strong like an athlete's. My resting pulse rate has dropped 15-20 beats per minute since August when I was last there. This is quite possibly the best compliment I've ever had in my life.
5. GTKY: If you could choose just one, would you prefer a personal trainer or a personal chef? I've had a trainer and did love that experience; food is my issue but I love cooking...so SS and I want someone to kindly follow me around and keep me accountable for what I eat. So a personal food journalist?

I just feel so much more confident and have more stamina and energy! And am finding it easier to maintain a healthier lifestyle, like some of the parts I was struggling in are starting to come more naturally to me now.
It also makes me so happy that our kids are seeing and understanding how we are prioritizing our health now. DS asks lots of questions and both kids will occasionally participate with me if I'm working out during a non nap/quiet time.
2. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? Kept up with both workouts again! Yoga was cancelled so i missed that, but did have days that were nicer to go outside to play or walk. This weekend I had a bridal shower and H's birthday so I drank and ate a bit more than normal, but Im feeling happy in my routine and don't let myself feel guilty about what I eat or drink on special occasions.
3. What are your goals for this week? Same old, stick to both my challenge groups and continue healthier eating choices.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts?
At the BBM 45 day check in last week, I was down 8 lbs and ~10 inches of what I've been keeping track of since day 1!! Also 45 days was the halfway point, so it felt huge getting to that day! Will likely want to do more of her programs when this one is over.
5. GTKY: If you could choose just one, would you prefer a personal trainer or a personal chef? Personal chef.
1. It's been two months since the new year. How are you progressing on your long-term goals? Slowly. I am down about five pounds from where I started, which is great. I had a week or two of not doing so great, and then got back on track last week during the week. Unfortunately, the weekend wasn't very good, but it's a new week again, right?
2. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? I did really good during the week, but then this past weekend I don't know what was going on, but everyone was really cranky, H and I fought, my period is just around the corner, so I ate some of my feelings. I did really good on working out and keeping my step count up, though at least!
3. What are your goals for this week? I started counting calories during the work week last week, and I plan on trying to stick with that definitely 100% during the work week, and as much as I can on weekends. It's tough when our schedule gets off though, and we're often eating out more or at other people's houses.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? See above - this weekend was not good, but I'm looking forward to getting back on track.
5. GTKY: If you could choose just one, would you prefer a personal trainer or a personal chef? Definitely trainer. I like cooking, and do decent job cooking healthy meals. I need someone to kick my butt though.

1. It's been two months since the new year. How are you progressing on your long-term goals? I could be doing better. But, I also could be doing worse. My water intake has been improving, as are my steps during the week. The weekends remain a different story.
2. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? Not good, mostly due to being on vacation from work. My Garmin sets a step goal each day based on previous days, and my last day of work before vacation had a goal of approx 12k. Today? Goal is 6600. Being home did mean I wasn't driving, so I wasn't stopping in drive thrus either.
3. What are your goals for this week? Get back on track with steps and water. Pack enough food to have for lunch and snacks, and possibly dinner, to prevent drive thru temptations.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? Nada
5. GTKY: If you could choose just one, would you prefer a personal trainer or a personal chef? Personal chef. I am not a fan of meal prep. I could use that time to take care of other things.
