Oh wow first to reply. Rough night. DS is definitely teething. He has been gagging on his spit In his sleep so all night I was up each time to make sure he was okay. He also woke up at 4 am hungry and before that I woke up with my left breast engorged and had to pump. I am so flipping tired. I may splurge on a latte today
I think Liam has a cold. Coughing a bit today and pretty boogery. I guess it's good that he still wakes up at least 4 times overnight, if there is a sleep regression, we probably won't notice it since he's always been a crappy sleeper lol.
I've caught whayever lo has to top it off...And Tennessee has declared a state of emergency. There's no getting out of the house. Just me, LO and dh. Spit and snot, yeah baby.

songbirdsinging55 I feel your pain. I really do. Good thing our babies are cute to make up for our lack of sleep. I think evolution has deliberately done it that way.

It's snowing... Again.
Lol me too sleep regression has nothing on LOs who don't sleep anyway.

HutterFlutter people in Nashville drive like complete shit anyway. Worst I've ever encountered. I'm from Colorado and I've seen snow but this ice rain is another beast. Insane.

Lo slept a ton yesterday. Dh & I just couldn't figure it out. I don't want to complain about sleeping but yeaterday seemed excessive. I took full advantage of it though.
I'm still coughing from this cold that last night I slept in our guest bedroom. Dh didn't realize I was gone until this morning. I think I'm going to call the dr today. I've been sick for 2 weeks.

Just checking in with everyone! Hope all is well. I've been back at work and dealing with a fussy baby a lot more than usual. On top of working.. Trying to deal with all the snow we have received is overwhelming.

hope everyone who is sick starts feeling better soon, and those dealing with snow/ice stay safe... I just saw in the forecast we're supposed to get more....ugh.
If I could please ask everyone to think of my cousin and baby girl right now. She went into labor early this morning, and is having an emergency c-section because the baby's heart rate is too high and there's an infection in the sac as well.
I just found out myself, feeling a little overwhelmed and emotional about it. We're not like extremely close, but we do talk a lot and now that I'm back in OH we've visited a few times when we can. We all used to be really close when we were little (she's also a twin, and they're a yr older than me and mine---twins run heavily in my family haha). I just know what she's going through as far as labor, having an unplanned c-section (mine was not emergency, but unexpected), and the fear of doing this for the first time. I can't imagine what she must be going through as far as some of the complications she's experiencing and what it means for the baby. Not sure if its just my hormones going out of whack still, but either way I just hope everything is ok. I'm at work earlier than normal but its the same hospital I delivered at, so it's 15 minutes away. I'm hoping I can leave and go be with them if need be.
ETA: Baby girl is ok! I found out at the tail end of everything and it took me some time to post in the first place, but they just got out of delivery and she is healthy and beautiful!
LO has been waking 1-1.5 hours earlier, pushing back from her usual 6:30-7 to 5-5:30. Eats and goes back to sleep but I think it's messing with the rest of her day. She hasn't been a great napper recently and gets fussy mad when tired.
Last night, after a nsp, she was really upset, crying hard and refusing the bottle and pacifier. I was pumping and couldn't help DH. Eventually she managed to drink part of a refrigerator cold bottle after refusing the warm bottle. So weird. Then a big dirty diaper. Made us both wonder if the need to poop was the initial problem.
gldnbearz I'd say the need to poop was probably key. Joseph was fussy for an hour last night turns out he had some extra gas that had built up after originally burping.
Happy and sad right now, I suggested 'what the stork" in the naming poll comments. People seemed to like it but now a mod say's it's kind of close to a store in Australia called 'what the stork forgot'. The very smallest of dreams are dashed. Just kidding but I am kind of disappointed.
gldnbearz I think it was the need to poop, too. I feel like most of the huge cry fits we've gotten have been digestive issues, built up gas, poop, all seemed to have been the problem each time.
I made my oatmeal with oat milk this morning and I swear my tatas are tingling and needing to be pumped lol
Adding oat milk to grocery delivery! With moving and visitors and more moving my already shitty supply has taken a nose dive. Hope my babe is looking forward to a lot of playmat and swing time while I'm attached to the pump trying to restore it.
tacocat does LO just have a cold? Sounds miserable. Mine has developed a weird little cough the last two days but seems to be feeling fine otherwise.
Can we talk about the jackass who,was banging on his iced over windshield outside my window? After 20 minutes of hearing him beat on his windshield I went outside and told the jackass he was doing it all wrong.
He had a scraper but was using a wooden spatula. And he DID NOT EVEN HAVE HIS CAR STARTED.
pixie523 yep its a cold. DH had it first. Started with a little cough (sorry) and mutated into full blown mucous central. Peaked on day 4 and today on day 6 we are getting dried out. I pray it passes.
tacocat gahghhhhhhghhhh nooooo. I'm going to put my head in the sand and just keep saying that LO is adjusting to the dry air in the new condo. Denial!
Oat milk - I've seen it at whole foods here and even our big grocery store in the vegan good aisle. Never tried it though.
gldnbearz, Instacart! It's not everywhere yet but they're a start up where you can order from a variety of grocery stores and get delivery within 2 hours. Basically you order what you want via app or webpage and a "personal shopper" buys and delivers your groceries. We buy an annual membership for $99 for express/free delivery.
