Springbeduk told us last week that the results of her US did not look hopeful, after her screening showed potential for Trisomy 13. However, there were several indicators on the US that (research shows) may mean the baby is healthy, so they have decided to go ahead with the amniocentesis. That will occur in approximately two weeks, after which point they will have a 100% answer.
She has not been around due to being exhausted from the stress and emotions, not to mention pregnancy and the usual work, family, and other commitments.
Just wanted to update you all so that we can keep hope alive for her little one and their whole family. Please send her your love, prayers, and any other good vibes you can spare.

Thank you all! And thank you for posting, salmon2017. I wasn't really meaning to step away altogether but have just been so busy and so exhausted the last few days.
I really wish all the best for all of you and all the September babies on the way and will probably still peek in from time to time just to see what's up, but also feel weird participating in most of the conversations right now (even if I had time) because I'm probably really on the way out.
But I do appreciate all the hopes and positive thoughts and crossed appendages you have mentioned and maybe maybe we'll get miraculous, highly improbable, not bad, news in 2 weeks. We will see. But anyway, thank you for the support and encouragement!
