This breaks my heart for you, springbeduk. I'm sorry that I am just now catching up on all of this, and I'm just so sorry you are facing this. I can't say which option is the better one as far as the actual procedure but I do worry about the protestors at PP and making an already heartbreaking experience feel even more so. I have terminated a pregnancy as well and it was at around 13 weeks, and I vividly remember the protestors to this day. I only say that to hopefully emotionally prepare you for that aspect, if you choose to go to PP. I'm so glad you have coverage for this. I just wanted to send you additional hugs and if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you all. We had decided on pp but then they had to cancel because the doctor who was supposed to do stuff that day either changed or canceled and they don't have a doctor next week so it'd be two weeks and that is too long to wait. Luckily I hadn't yet canceled hospital appointment so going with that. Dilation stuff late this afternoon and D&E tomorrow.
I'm really stressing about the 12 hours without food or drink rule (pp is just 4 hours no food). Which I know in the grand scheme of things is a silly thing to complain about and is probably partly because it is easier to focus on that than the actual situation, but still... I'm worried about it. Especially since procedure isn't until 1 I'm (tomorrow). I'm probably going to just cheat a little bit and not tell.

I'm really sorry. I'll be thinking of you. Get your DH to get you something really delicious to eat afterwards, take care of yourself and give yourself time to grieve and heal.

So utterly heartbroken for you and I have tears typing this now and having to go through the ordeal with changing last minute plans is beyond belief. Will be thinking of you and your family and sending you all the hugs, good thoughts and prayers for recovery physically and emotionally.
I thought of you all day springbeduk. I hope that everything went smoothly and you are physically feeling okay.
Thank you for your (your plural even though im quoting one post) thoughts! Yes, everything went ok (and the day before the doctor said 6 hours without food&drink was enough so even that part was better than expected) and physically I'm really feeling fine. Which is good but also kinda feels weird, like I feel too fine. But anyway i guess it is much better than having complications. Out of work a few more days for emotional time.

Hugs! I've been thinking of you as well. You can feel however you want, I don't think any way is the "right" way.
