We do SO MUCH laundry. It is a daily thing for us. Between kitchen towels, bath towels, sheets, DS1, DS2, and me and H it is never ending. Also, I'm 10-15lbs from prepregnancy weight and I want to not care but I do. I'm also stuffing my face with Girl Scout cookies so there's that too.
I'm another close to pre-pg weight (under 5). But clothes do not fit because I have a total pg pooch for my lower belly. Def need some toning there from being stretched to the absolute max.
6 week check was all good. Then they had me schedule my annual PAP..what? Don't get s break from those??!!!?? WAH!!!

@jacks605, I was surprised I got a PAP yesterday at my 6 week PP visit. I don't remember getting one at my PP visit with DS1. It also was way more uncomfortable than usual.

I feel like a shitty mom today. I've lost my cool multiple times and have spent a good majority of this day crying. PPA is in full swing and I am so incredibly exhausted from N only wanting to sleep on me during the night. He's been crying on and off today and DS1 is out of control and not listening to anything to top it off.

allisong87, huge hugs. Know that losing your cool doesn't make you a bad mom. It makes you human and we've all been there. Sleep deprivation, anxiety, and tantrums are no joke. You're doing great!
So my OB doesn't think it's thrush and said it's definitely not mastitis. He thinks I'm just dealing with engorgement pain.
The pedi just checked E and said no thrush, just milk residue. And E gained another 5 oz. this week, so my little chunk monster is now 9lbs 4 oz.
I'm relieved but I hope my boobs stop hurting soon. And because I am obsessed with AWing my child today, here's another.
I imagine I still have a ways to go with weight loss. I refuse to think about it for a few more weeks. My stomach flap doesn't look horrible so I'm not feeling TOO rough about it

Lol loves2shop4shoes DS does this all the time. I move his head to the side but he always smooshes his face right back between the boobies. Not sure how he enjoys barely breathing.
I feel weird now not knowing how close I am to my pre-preg weight because I just like never weigh myself. My weight on my licence was a guess. I my goal is more of a look than a weight. I am excited to get cleared for exercise though. To not have to wear my stupid brace will be sweet. It's like taking off your bra at the end of the day, which I can't do anymore.
Update: we made it to a playgroup and there's nobody else is here!!! Oh well. The kids think our toys are "boring" anyway and I got a hot chocolate so whatever. Still a win.

It's a shame babies can't sleep on their bellies over night. I put R down for a nap on her belly and she is peacefully, soundly and quietly napping. (I've been right next to her the entire time) since K was also napping.
I should have napped but I was binge watching Netflix. K is up now and we are watching Finding Nemo for the millionth time this week.
DH and K cleaned the entire house while I was at the pedi appointment with R. Including steaming the floors, cleaning all 3 bathrooms, changing the sheets, doing laundry and rotating our mattress. I am so happy--only took a few mental breakdowns for him to do stuff around here but it's much appreciated.
R weighed 10 lb 7 oz at her appointment (80th percentile). And got her Hep B vaccine, which she did not like. At all.

I know I'm only 1 week PP, but I'm about 20 pounds away from pre-pregnancy weight. I'm not too worried, though - I gained more with DS. And it came off. I'm too paranoid about milk supply to do much besides exercise/eat healthy until baby is older. Right now I'm enjoying eating all the things I try not to eat when I'm not growing a human - like sugar, and pancakes, and bread... yummmmm.
Oh we had our newborn pictures today!! Baby took forever to cooperate, but we eventually got there
The sibling pictures are going to be amazing though; my toddler was very cooperative and smiled at all the right times ❤ I can't wait to see them
Glad your pictures went well! We had opposite problems. The newborn was a dream but the toddler didn't want to cooperate. No amount of suckers or ice cream was enough to get her to hold or touch him so our sibling pictures are the two of them laying next to each other with an inch in between them. God forbid his arm moved and touched her.
I think we got one with her tickling his foot? That's it.
loves2shop4shoes, with my DD I was convinced I had mastitis or thrush, but my LC told me what I was feeling was normal. I'd get shooting pains randomly in my breasts and she said it's just from breast tissue adjusting to producing milk. It can also be "refilling" pains and the tissue works to rapidly reproduce milk. At any rate, after a few months the pains subsided. Hopefully that's all you're experiencing too.

We tried newborn photos today. We had to abandon after we got one or two shots because baby woke up hangry. I did get peed on, though, before I could get her diaper back on 😂

loves2shop4shoes, I'm having a lot of boob pain that isn't from mastitis or thrush too. They are sore with some shooting pain at times. I hope it wears off.
wildflower810 my baby is the same. I have to change her clothes because they are soaked from spit-up. It has gotten better in the last few days, but yeah, I have to do baby laundry every other day or every third day.

I actually gained 2 pounds in the last week, making me 18 pounds over prepregnancy weight. I'm only 5'4" so it's a good amount, more than a full clothing size. I don't have the mental energy to devote to weight loss, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't bother me. I wonder every day if I'm even going to be able to lose that much weight.
ETA: And I eat super healthy during the day but I eat junk in a half-awake state during MOTN wakeups. I have to break the habit but it's not fully conscious.

The first part of this us me exactly. I cannot claim healthy eating though. I just wonder if I'm ever going to have the time and energy to exercise again.
We had a nice visit with my grandparents today. And I got my therapy referral so I can start to call people Monday morning. Hopefully I can get an appointment soon.
Nooooooo. My toddler has a 102 fever and is super lethargic. I'm putting him to bed now, taking a shower, and then going back to baby duty. We're sanitizing what we can, but what else can we do to prevent L from catching this? Or has he likely already been exposed to the germs? I'm freaking out a bit.

Oh no EmMilAlly lots of hand washing. And keeping them away from one another. Maybe you can just do baby and SO can do toddler until he is feeling better.

Okay, don't freak out.
He has maybe been exposed but maybe not. And just because he was exposed doesn't mean he's going to get sick. My LO has been exposed to a cold and 2 stomach bugs and is still doing okay. Obviously that's just an anecdote, but hopefully your LO will be just fine. I would be vigilant about hand washing and keep your toddler as far away as possible.

Fx baby doesn't catch the bug and LO feels better soon EmMilAlly! We just got back from walking around the mall. I may be a little sore tomorrow, but feel really good about finally getting a few steps in.

I was thinking about doing some mall walking tomorrow since it's supposed to be cold, but I'm not sure I can trust myself to be there and not shop... 😳
