Happy weekend! H just got mandated to work today, so he just left for work. Planning to take the kids to a train exhibit at a library a few towns away. My sister and her kids are going, so E should have fun with that. No other plans for the weekend except for some cleaning.
Also, L is sooo close to rolling over back to belly! She's gone belly to back a handful of times.

We have a first birthday party this afternoon and not much else on the books. C Got to take her easter pictures with baby ducks yesterday and loooooved it. I'm excited to get them back!
One of my closest friend's baby shower is today. I'm making the cupcakes for it. Foxes and hedgehogs! Tomorrow we're celebrating MIL's birthday and I'm making the cake for that. It won't be woodland creature themed. We're also cleaning our house like crazy for an appraisal on Monday. I scrubbed all the dog boogers off the doors and walls yesterday making it feel so much less gross in the whole house.
tjanca22, how is L old enough to roll over?! She was just born.
H and I ate some delicious Ecuadorian chocolate last night and drank some delicous local beer and sunk into the couch with some Netflix and it was a great date night in!
DS really got into the hard hitting questions last night at bedtime. We discussed everything from how his great grandparents fit into his family (and if I have any), how he loves my squishy belly that he used to live in, what my rings mean (and then kissed my engagement ring when I explained that one and he said "I really love that one"), and why we have bones in our body (where he then added "but crabs don't have bones, and neither do tractors. Heh heh")
Happy Saturday! Today is DS's birthday party day, so I'm enjoying a cup of coffee before running around like a mad woman to get the last minute things done. We're doing an indoor swimming party. with a bunch of kindergarteners. because I'm brilliant.
You are so brave! I hope it goes swimmingly. Get it? Get it?

Went on a 6 mile hike this morning with friends up to the top of a mountain. Probably not a mountain literally... I'm not sure the requirements, but it certainly felt like it would qualify.
My mom is on her way and then, baseball game! Because it's Saturday. And then we'll go out to lunch after.

Good morning! J was up and down with a stuffy nose, but I didn't hear him much after 3. He seems okay this morning though, other than he sneezed all over my face.
We don't have any plans this weekend since therapy was canceled. I'm hoping to start getting items entered and tagged for our JBF sale that's the end of April.

Happy weekend, everyone! We already got through gymnastics, got some soup and DS is now napping. H's grandmas 96th birthday celebration dinner will be later this afternoon, so I'm sure DS will have a blast playing with his cousin.
Cake looks amazing @wwprestige! C woke up with a low grade fever this morning. It was just barely over 100, so we kept our morning plans with my mom. He was acting completely fine while we were out and about. He woke up at 102.9 after nap, guess we'll have a lazy movie watching afternoon/evening. I was hoping it was just teeth, but now I'm not sure.
And great, he just figured out how to climb out of his crib. I'll just say goodbye to sleep forever.
I had a dream this morning that C figured out how to climb out of his crib. I woke up in a panic and remembered that he still uses a sleep sack so it might hinder things a little. Hoping to get him transferred/transitioned to his big boy bed by mid April. (And only that long because we are still working on fixing the walls in the nursery so we don't really have anywhere to put the crib yet.)
I'm sorry for all the sleepless nights naturally, DS decided to sleep in this morning, which would have been great, except we felt like we needed to wake him by about 8 (felt like 7, when he's normally up by) to try and get him on the new DST schedule, especially since he needs to get up tomorrow for school. No big plans for us. H is working a little this morning because they have some huge launch this week, so DS and I are watching Elmo. Tonight I've got a girls dinner sans kids, so looking forward to a meal in peace and H dealing with bedtime tonight!

Good morning ladies and Happy Sunday! Sounds like some fun saturdays were had and all those cakes and cupcakes look amazing, also I am now going to be ordering C's birthday stuff.
We finished tiling the powder room and will grout today. I also deep cleaned our laundry room, the game room and my closet. Next up is my bathroom and bedroom. We are just about ready to list! I'm nervous. We are going to look at a new neighborhood this morning to see if we like the area. C shared a pizookie with us last night and was in heaven. I'm SO thankful that she is not even trying to climb out of her crib yet. #cribforlyfe
So much not sleeping lately. sabrinaml good point with the sleepsack. We use ones that have footholes but maybe I need to go back to the old style as he gets more motivated! Team hoping to keep our boy in the crib till college .
C refuses to keep his socks on and I don't want to always have to put him in footie pajamas. So, old school sleep sacks it is!

We're road tripping today. I've packed a picnic and we're heading out of town. Kids are munching on bagels in the backseat and we're listening to The Mysterious Disappearance of Mars Patel.

I pulled out our Easter decorations this morning and C is obsessed with a bunny ear headband she found. Later we're planning a trip to IL's knock off "Doh" restaurant (serves cookie dough to eat) and lunch with my Mom and Aunt.

B just peed on the potty for the first time! DD1 took her diaper off for her and helped her sit down, and she went! I think big sister was the most excited haha.
Lazy Sunday here! DH's out of town trip was cancelled so we get some more family time! Yay!
Yesterday a friend got sick of how cold the weather is been and gathered a few of us up and got the hall opened with a bouncy castle set up so the kids had a place to run around. Gotta love my small town living and being able to make last minute plans like that with all the resources available lol!
This morning I spent scraping labels off wine bottles after soaking them in the tub all night. 30 wine bottles counted for and cleaned, and I need 20 more. I put myself in charge of decor for this years Ladies Night fundraiser, which this year is a 20s themed. This is my centrepiece inspiration.
This afternoon my parents are coming over for supper, then they are in charge of bedtime while H and I run to the next town over for our very first ball meeting! Figure out more about how DS's season will run and what we need to do.
I just had to confirm with DS that we are indeed going to a T-Ball meeting tonight, no don't worry not not a meeting to put you on our pro football team.

So this is completely random add on PSA (since it's been discussed at length) but this weekend I finally was able to try out the diva cup. Life changing! That is all.
Today has been a day. There's a huge consignment sale happening in a week that I signed up for. I have participated in it a few years ago and had a lot of success, but I forgot how much work it is. You have to hang all of your clothes, print your own tags using their system, and pin them to the item. I have gone through every box of old clothing, shoes, toys, and baby equipment. Exhausted.
I signed up for ours that is near the end of April. I figure if I start now, things might be ready by drop off time. I'm hoping to have better luck than I've had with listing in Facebook groups.

Unproductive weekend here, unless we are counting napping as productive. I did finally buy a new laptop to replace my giant heavy brick that is slower than slow though, so that's exciting. I'm forcing myself to wait to set it up until the kitchen is clean and lunches are prepped.
