What are some good gift ideas for our 2 year olds? My family is already starting to ask what K needs for her birthday. We also have a ton of 2nd Birthday parties in the next 6 months...first one is in two weeks.
My house is full of crap. She has plenty of toys (that entertain her for ten minutes tops) so I think we are getting her an easel with some paint and such. But I can't think of ANYTHING this child needs.

We are buying her a baby doll crib. My aunt is buying her a shopping cart because G was obsessed with it when she was at her house. I have no idea what else yet.
So far on M's list I have: stickers (including reusable ones), mega bloks, a bubble machine, a bunch of longer board books, sidewalk chalk, a wooden train set with tracks, an outdoor playhouse with slide, play doh, kinetic sand, beach toys, a soft activity book, wooden blocks, and a dump truck.
ETA: and my parents want to get her a doll highchair.

K got a balance bike for Christmas she's been too young to use, that I'm hoping is good for the spring and summer...but I might be over estimating her abilities ha ha I guess we will see

Was also going to suggest clothes, and then realized I might ask for some shoes! Kid's shoes are pricey*, I've lucked out with sales and clearance about 50% of the time but hey, if someone else is looking to buy stuff for my kid then why not.
* I'm cheap. I cringe at $25 for a tiny pair of sneakers that might last 2 months, and I'm well aware that one can spend MUCH more than that!
Does anyone have a tryke (trike?) rec? ILs want to get her one. I didn't know if the 3 in 1 one that everyone has is worth it at this age, or if she'd be close to outgrowing it?
Otherwise, I'm so lost on ideas for this birthday. She has almost everything listed here, or else they're things we don't have indoor or outdoor space for. Maybe we'll push for clothes and art supplies. Our little apt is already overflowing with kid toys!
E got this for Christmas and is obsessed:
She isn't quite big enough to pedal herself (legs not long enough) and she LOVES to stand on the back:poof ]It's supposed to be good thru age 4 but I'm not sure it will last that long with how much we use it. She seriously LOVES. You say "Want to go for a walk?" And she goes and hops on the back. When she gets tired, she rides in the front.

C got this for his first b-day and he loves it. His doesn't have the platform on the back though and I'm totally jelly. It has a little trunk instead. Last summer his legs were still too short for it and his feet would get bumped by the peddles so we had to tuck them behind the feet rests. It was... a hassle. This summer he should fit in it much better and I expect he will get a lot more use out of it. I'd say this is the perfect age to buy one

R loves his legos, that he got last year for his birthday so I think I will ask for more of those. Also I would like some kitchen stuff so he has more to play with, all he has now is food. Sidewalk chalk Bubbles Play dough Storage containers
I hiiiiighly recommend a mini trampoline. I got a little tikes one from target that has a bar so she can hold onto it when she jumps. She is constantly jumping in it off and on throughout the day
We did a swing set for Christmas and the boys love it! We play on it every day after we get home from work, even if just for 5-10 minutes. I can unload the car, check the mail, etc while they play for a bit.
