1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week?I feel like a total fail of a week. I'm not sure if that's causing my sickness, or as a result of it.
2. What are your goals for this week? I need to up my water intake and really focus on my running. And get healthy.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? As mentioned on Friday, I signed up for a half marathon two weeks for today. I am so excited, I really wanted to run it, but didn't sign up when it was super cheap. Then the price kept going up, and I couldn't justify it. I got offered the bid at the original price and jumped on it. I love the course, there are a ton of fantastic perks, I have a bunch of friends running it. But I am woefully undertrained. I had a training plan for the time between my January half and this one, but I got lazy and didn't follow it. So now I'm just hoping I don't hurt myself.
4. GTKY: What is the greatest benefit you've noticed as a result of your healthy living choices? ummmmmm...i can lift a lot of groceries?

1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week?
Pretty good I think. It was insane at work which made it easy to get my water and steps in. I also brought lunch every day, but didn't bring enough for dinner too, and working extra late meant there were drive thrus visited on the drive home.
2. What are your goals for this week?
Keep up steps and water, pack lunch every day except Thursday since we have a standing sub order, pack dinners too. Increase water and steps on the weekends, which probably means planning things for us to do.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts?
Bragging about my steps this week. I am only around 750 before work, and spending 4.5 hours in the car per day.
4. GTKY: What is the greatest benefit you've noticed as a result of your healthy living choices?
Hm, not sure. My pants are looser? I weigh on Monday mornings and have been stuck for a couple weeks, but we'll see if this week is any different.
1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week?
Still keeping up with both challenge groups! A bit more snacking than I have been this weekend. But still generally healthier choices than I previously had been making for snacks.
2. What are your goals for this week?
Just keep going.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts?
The format is changing in BBM tomorrow as we enter month 3. (She switches the exercises weekly, but the format of how it all goes together monthly to focus on different things) Month 3 you guys! I have been regularily been doing one or two small but mighty workouts a day for 2 months now!
4. GTKY: What is the greatest benefit you've noticed as a result of your healthy living choices?
Easily 100% my stress level. It's benefiting both me and my kids greatly, my patience and therefore reasoning skills has gotten so much better with them.
I was working regular hour, Mon-Fri jobs for 8 years straight before becoming a SAHM, where routine becomes a loose word and more of my life happens on the fly, and I don't think I even realized how much I needed this daily constant of healthy me time. I noticed pretty quickly that instead of finding (or not finding) the time to work out, I'm now planning part of my day around WHEN I need to work out.
1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? Despite being out of town, I worked out 4 days last week. I also didn't go too crazy with food on the trip.
2. What are your goals for this week? I have a feeling this week is going to be pretty bad because of the imminent snow and H being out of town. I might not be able to do any workouts until this weekend.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? Preoccupied with other things.
4. GTKY: What is the greatest benefit you've noticed as a result of your healthy living choices? I can feel my upper body getting stronger and I don't pull/strain my back as much from picking up and carrying around my kids.
1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? Hahahaha. I did SO GOOD Monday and Tuesday, even with a sick kid, and I was so proud of myself. Then the great power outage happened on Wednesday - between us not having power, taking in family that didn't have power, and MIL changing Saturday's plans around to pizza because they still didn't have power, we pretty much ate what we could when we could. But this morning I was expecting a disaster on the scale, and I was very pleasantly surprised, so somewhere in there were a few wins.
2. What are your goals for this week? Get back into an exercising routine. Stick to our meal plan. Count calories at least during the week.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? I'm 100% with you budders, I cannot wait for spring to get here and stay here! Especially now that we'll have extra daylight to go outside and play or take a walk after dinner, it just needs to not snow and get above freezing.
4. GTKY: What is the greatest benefit you've noticed as a result of your healthy living choices? I have noticed it's easier to say no to sweets now for me after making a huge effort to cut back on them. This weekend I snacked on fruit instead of whatever cookies or junk are in the pantry, and that helped a lot I think in the midst of eating so much pizza and whatever else was convenient the last few days.
1. How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? Food wise I did well but I skipped both of my lifting workouts in favor of cleaning and organizing the house. The scale hit a new number making me down 15lbs in 2 months!! So I'll take that as a win.
2. What are your goals for this week? Get the workouts in. My back and hips are very angry because I didn't workout or stretch those two days.
3. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? We're trying a Paleo-ish diet. We've cut back significantly on processed grains and dairy and are eating more whole foods. It's an interesting switch mostly because H is rather picky about food. But I think that it's a good choice for us.
4. GTKY: What is the greatest benefit you've noticed as a result of your healthy living choices? I feel SO much better about everything. My stress level is lower, I'm happier, I'm sleeping better, my anxiety levels have dropped, my clothes fit better, I'm getting thinner, my back hurts less and feels less likely to go out, and my energy levels are higher. Because I've figured out how to fit things in for myself I'm finding myself more motivated to do other things as well. Basically, everything is great!!

I have been majorly slacking the past few weeks with vacations and bad eating habits, but today is day one of my old routine and it feels great already.
