A overslept her alarm for school and had to rush around this morning.
G woke up early and couldn't decide on what she wanted for breakfast which resulted in a a meltdown.
S actually slept for 6 straight hours last night! It was freaking wonderful. If things had gone smoothly with the other two children, I might not even need the coffee I'm making.
There's about 2" of snow on the ground here with more on the way, and 24°, which is nothing for Lake Michigan area, but I'm tired of cold and am yearning for summer. I need to get outside in the sunshine!
Good luck to everyone solo parenting and/or snow prepping!
R pooped in the bath while both kids were still in the water. I pulled both out, put them on towels on the floor and told them to stay (repeatedly) while I scooped poop out of the tub and washed it down with antibacterial soap. Cue repeat bath with lots of soap.
This morning MH was supposed to have an alarm set for 7:15am. Didn't go off. We have a contractor working on L&M's room today who arrived just as MH got downstairs and before he'd found any of his clothes. Glad the front door was locked.
We got R&G ready to go to daycare and MH took R out to the car. He ran back in and had to use the bathroom *now*. I already had G dressed to go out to the car, so I put on my snow boots and jacket, took her out, started the car, and cleared all the snow off of the car. MH was still in the bathroom. I left him with the baby monitor while I took R&G to daycare. I figured if there was really an emergency he can run upstairs whether or not he's done.
When I got back from daycare drop off, L&M were both crying since they'd slept at least 5 hours and were hungry. MH was in the bathroom again putting in contacts. I shoved him out the door, changed and fed L&M, and got a call back from the peds scheduler just after L puked on me because he *had* to have an extra ounce of formula and while M was crying because she wasn't asleep.
Luckily, I got a call early this morning that we'd have to reschedule L&M's one-month checkup (doctor was in an accident on the way to work, no injuries) because we were supposed to go at 9am today... after dropping R&G off at daycare just after 8:30am while L&M were just waking up. We're going tomorrow instead, same time. I hope tomorrow morning goes better. I may set my own alarm so I can wake up MH.
Now L&M are sleeping peacefully while the contractor swears at our house upstairs. He thinks our house is trying to kill him.
ETA: I almost forgot... L peed on me after his bath last night. That covers all of the usual stuff that comes out of a baby. I knew I was missing something.

nomnom - The F17 babies must sense our desire to feel clean. In the last 24 hours C has pooped, peed, and puked on me twice. Over it, bro.
flyinghorses6 - Ha! We own Trolls and all the Disney and Pixar movies you can name. FX they work for both of us for the next day or two.
TMI Monday - I realized yesterday I have psoriasis in places no person should have psoriasis. I. Hate. My. Body. It seriously is revolting against its postpartum status. Or it hates breastfeeding. Or both.
And good luck to everyone trying to regulate supply. It's so hard! Especially now when babies haven't regulated how much they need at a time. We're struggling with it here, too. All the sudden C is taking 4 oz every 2.5-3 hours. And he keeps it down (I think he puked today because he ate too soon between feeds). Whoa, dude! Really?!

We are only going to get 1-3 inches of snow. We had a very mild winter and this will be the most snow we had all year. I love snow, and was wishing for it all winter. But now I'm just ready for spring.
DS would not go back down after his 3:00am feeding last night. He wasn't crying, he just wouldn't fall asleep. So we were awake for about two hours and then he ate again an hour after going down. But then we slept until about 9:00, so I don't feel too bad today.

Oh my word. I just nursed C on the left, changed her diaper and went to the bathroom quick, started nursing her on the right, and lefty is leaking. 😑 Lefty is definitely my overproducer.
We are getting 10-12 inches since we are on the coast, they are getting 18 further inland! I went to the store this morning to stock up. Daycare will def be cancelled, ugh.

Well, I can join in on the Monday suck fest. DH got his message this morning and instead of his deployment being for the summer/late spring he's leaving in less than a month. The silver lining (if there is one) is that he'll be home in time for Christmas. I knew it was coming, I just hoped I had a couple more months, not weeks.
Just wanted to share my Target LOL moment . Even sized up 2 sizes. Yes those are the bottom of the girls squished down there. Boobs are outta control.
They might look huge but I'll be damned if I'm having the opposite problem of most of you ladies. My best pump is about 3 oz. total. LO currently wants 4 oz. per feeding so I'm having to nurse him and then supplement. I'm drinking all the water, eating enough and taking supply supplements. What else can I do? I had oversupply with DD so this is foreign to me.

Liked for support and your silver lining. I'm sorry that the time table got bumped up so much.

So sorry to hear this. Big hugs. I hope you all can get some quality time together before he leaves.

I tried putting white noise in LO's room for the first time and he slept for SIX HOURS. This is a child who had never slept more than two hours at night. Fluke or he just loves white noise? We shall see. I feel so rested though.
Bad news is older DD is sick. She has a low fever and nothing else so I hope she's better by tomorrow. But she's home from school so I'm going crazy

I'm sorry. That is so tough. Your family is incredible. Big hugs.
Just left the one month appointment and LO handled his shots like a champ! He's grown two inches since birth, but dropped from the 50th percentile to the 35th in two weeks. Dr wasn't TOO worried, but said to keep an eye on it and make sure he's eating enough. I'm baffled because he eats so much and has eleventy million wet diapers a day, it seems. I may try adding a bottle of formula at bedtime tonight. Would you worry?

EmMilAlly, I'm not sure I'd worry - he could be finding his own place on the growth curve. Do you have a 2-month appointment? If he's eating well, I think I'd just wait and see where he is next month.

Hugs! Yes- focus that he'll be home for Christmas!!
@wineandcupcakes flyinghorses6 @mrsbaldwin- LilG has a cold and I'm not getting a whole lot out of him even though he's super stuffy. I have a new bottle of adult saline spray/drops. ?can I use those on G to loosen things up or do I need the baby version?

EmMilAlly I wouldn't worry. DD2 has always been low on the curve but she's a healthy little spit fire. She's 15 months old 29 inches tall and weighs 22lbs. She's small and everybody comments on it except for her doctor. She told me there is a curve because there are big kids and small kids and it doesn't necessarily reflect health. I wouldn't change anything actually if the output is on point and baby seems satisfied and just reassess at each appointment or if concerns come up.
