I really really love being woken up 45 minutes before my alarm by The Wheels on the Bus. I might have had some chance of going back to sleep but then our carbon monoxide alarm stares beeping low battery. Good times.

I Have one kid home sick but she seems to have perked up a lot. I think I'm going to take her to school.

Good morning!
G just hijacked half of my breakfast. Apparently a banana and a waffle weren't enough for her today.
Today I have to go to work. I was supposed to go yesterday but the driving conditions were now good enough for me to do so. I am waiting for MH to text me so I know what time he is working so I can figure out when I am working.
Other than that we are just cleaning today.

I told DD today is mommy's birthday. She said no. OK kid mommy will turn thirty another day. Sounds good.

Thanks to DH, I ate too much sodium yesterday (he got us Chipotle at 9:30pm), and my pants were too tight. Went with my "bloated" pants with a high waist instead. Haha!

Lol she only tries to feed me when she is done with what she is eating. That's one of her signs that she is full.
Actually now that I think about it she also tries to feed me her fake food all the time. 😊

Hi! S is napping, I opened the blinds in my room for the first time in ages and let her look out the window at the busy street (why the blinds are usually closed!) she enjoyed all the trucks and busses zooming by
She had fun in the snow yesterday until it started coming down really heavily

Ugh. M is coughing and wheezing. Inhaler it is.

J has had a cough for over a month. It is a loose, congestion type cough. No accompanying fever of concern, tons of snot. Generally he is his usual self but it has affected his sleep and appetite for the last few days.

I took him to the doctor about it two weeks ago and she felt his ears were inflamed but not infected. She did prescribe abx but told me not to fill the prescription unless he had a fever spike. He didn't, so we've just been toughing it out.

Now I'm at the point where I am ready for it to be gone. And I am sure he is too. I am not concerned about his lungs but I am not happy with the fact that he continues to have this cough and mucous.

Fairly certain I will take him to the doctor again tomorrow.

Any thoughts? Have your littles experienced this type of lingering cough?

This was ds a couple weeks ago. He used the potty for most pee and poo for 2.5 days and since has completely refused to sit longer than 30 seconds. I've mostly given up again for now.

Has he been losing weight? I'd hope the pedi would have concerns about that if he is.

I've taken C in for a cough before after a couple of weeks and awful nights. You never know what nasty stuff goes around DC!

He's not losing but he's not gaining. He's basically been the same weight since the 18 month well visit. I'm not overly concerned about that because he's grown about an inch and a half and he's going going going but I hate this cough. The eating issues have only been the last few days.
