DH and I say it whenever we say goodbye or before bed and randomly during the day. DH probably says it a little more often than I do. We say it to DD all the time. So I guess a whole lot in our family ;-)
I always say it to DH, DD and DS when I leave the house and before bed. But I really dont say it during the day to DH even though we talk several times a day. I just try to keep my conversations to a minimum since I work in an open office setting and to be honest, its really annoying listening to my co-workers saying I love you 5000 times a day.

Every day to each of them, usually several times. And I often accompany the words with a hug or kiss. I'm VERY affectionate. DH likes to joke that I walk out of our bedroom several times just so I can tell him I love him and give him a kiss a few extra times after I go to bed. (I do this way more frequently than is probably typical for an adult.) I also tell the kids I love them when I go in to check on them overnight. I have a paranoia that people will die in their sleep and always want my last words to them to be "I love you".
DD = ALL THE TIME lol She will never have to question just how loved she is hahaha
DH - Like other people, I say it whenever leaving the house and on most phone calls. Try to before bed but sometimes he passes out on the couch while watching TV. If we are having a great day or i just feel like it, i will say it randomaly throughout the day but i wouldnt say we are an overly "i love you so much" kind of couple.
I'm realizing from these posts I need to say it more often to DH! Its very sporadically said in our household, but we know we love one another.
I say it to DD every night before bed and when she gives me kisses
DH and I are both the kind of people that feel loved more by actions than words, but we still do make a point to say it to each other every day. But with DD we can't help it, she probably hears it at least 100 times a day, lol. We both had difficult childhoods and felt very little love from our parents, so DD gets showered with all the love we wish that we had from our parents.
DH as we say good-by and before bed. Sometimes randomly on any given day. LO all the time. Always as I say good-by, when I come home, and before bed. The dog - don't want to leave him out. The dog gets a "love you" once a day, too.
For LO, all the time and it's the last thing I say to him before he goes to sleep. For SO, we tell each other before either of us leaves somewhere, goes to bed, or when saying bye on the phone.

This is pretty much the same for me. DD hears it quite a bit throughout the day and before bed. DH and I on the other hand dont say it that frequently to each other but I think we should work on that. I grew up without hearing those words very often and I'd love to have that be different for LO.

All the time to the kids - my son now tells me he loves me "farther than the moon and back". Sometimes, he will tell me "I love you so much mommy, but not as much as I love my daddy". Stinker. I always tell him it's okay.
To my husband - when we say goodbye and when we say goodnight.
