My cocker spaniel decided she wanted to go for an adventure. Luckily she came back.
That is my nightmare, literally. At least once a month I dream our dog escaped somehow and ends up running in the street, etc, and I wake up completely panicked. Glad she came back!
There's two visitor spots near our building- one is handicap. I'm about to the point where I'm going to call every time someone non-handicap is parked there because that's 99% of the time.
There's always two cars not in their designated spots so I'm hoping they got emailed as well... I'm going to be pissed if they weren't 😒
Oh good! Sounds like they're comfy then? If there's one thing I refuse to give up during this pregnancy it's heels.
I said the same thing...
Until my feet got too swollen for even flip flops. The side of my foot would touch on the floor when I was walking.
I'm trying to stay fairly #breezy and realistic about most pregnancy things, but someone will have to pry my heels off my swollen ass pregnant feet if it gets to that point. I'm aware that I'm super vain, but flats make me look really stumpy and my pregnant belly makes it even worse!
Luckily warm weather is right around the corner and I can handle flats if they're sandals for some reason. Not looking forward to the swollen, gigantic part. Especially in July. 😐

My feet didn't swell until after I had N. So you may end up lucky and continue to wear your heels!

It's really pretty out. DH and I had a wonderful afternoon after our labor deck tour. We went out to lunch. Stopped and saw my girlfriend then went and walked around the park to scope out spots for our maternity shoot onSunday.
Our hospital warned us about night 2 but my kid fell asleep feeding and had to be woken for almost every feed. She went from 6 lb 6 oz to 5 lb 11 oz but apparently didn't care that she was starving :-/As soon as she hit birth weight and we didn't have to wake her anymore that magic was over of course.
BabyStandish, pregnancy brain is not letting me figure out how to ship cookies, but if you do the thing I will Paypal you, I swear to anything that wants swearing to. I went from, "Oh, that sounds good," to "JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL AND DRIVE ME TO BABYSTANDISH'S KITCHEN GODDAMN I NEED THOSE COOKIES" in about ....however long it's been. I'm literally sitting here salivating. Just send the cookies and give me my bill.

I've shipped cookies. I usually put them in Ziploc bags and suck out as much air as I can (with a straw). Then wrap with bubble wrap. Put in a box and fill with extra paper to make sure they don't shift too much. Pretty easy. And they're light, so it shouldn't cost too much.

Finding something to wear for a night out seriously is enough to make me not even want to go anywhere. Holy hell. My bedroom is now a disaster. And I'm cranky.

We need to grocery shop so H asked if I wanted to go out for dinner. I've been in an off mood all day and feeling like a lump. It would have required showering, doing my hair, then finding something to wear. I told him no. Thankfully he was fine with that. We're doing brunch out on Sunday with friends so that's enough for one weekend!
akraus2015 I hope you can keep wearing the shoes you like! As an anecdote, my feet hardly swelled at all with the baby I just had. Like, I packed flip flops in my hospital bag (in cold AF February) since I was prepared for them to be giant sausages, but they were so normal that I easily wore my regular shoes home. I couldn't believe it lol. I hope it's the same for you! ETA and I am talking both during and post pregnancy. My hands were balloons toward the end but feet were fine.

So I left my keys in the door again....H came in the sliding glass door when he got home from work so he didn't find them. I was just looking for my keys to make sure my car was locked. Good thing I had the sense to look in the door.
