I desperately need a decent bra. But my boobs are covered in psoriasis and look awful. I'm too embarrassed to go, so I'm wearing horrible, unsupportive nursing tanks. Must. Go. To. Soma. Face your fear.
If you're really uncomfortable going in to the store, you could always order a couple online and send back the ones you don't want. Of course, I guess you'd have to have an idea of what sizes to try. Good luck! Sorry about the mastitis again boo.

I get psoriasis pretty bad on my legs and hands, in the winter especially. Not sure if you have any real treatments you use, but I noticed a huge improvement after I started showering with Lush's The Olive Branch shower gel. Not sure if it's the olive oil or a combo of its ingredients...But if I use it at least every other day my skin is sooo much better. And I slap on a thick lotion straight out of the shower. No bra suggestions, but good luck with the shopping anyhow! Hope you find some good stuff 😊
Question for tea drinkers: I am trying to drink the Mothers Milk Tea but I'll be damned if it doesn't make me gag. If I do a 4 oz. brew vs. an 8 oz. brew does that still get me the same effect from the tea or do I need to suck it up and do the 8 oz.? Same amount of tea just less water

pivot, mother's milk tea is black licorice flavored. That's the one flavor I absolutely cannot do after getting absurdly drunk off sambuca in high school.
No amount of water dilation could change that for me.
notagoddess, where does one find baby wearing meetings?

I think you'll still get the benefits if you make more of a concentrate like you described. You could also brew a couple tea bags and then super dilute it in water - I'm not sure which would make it more palatable. It's definitely not a tea I enjoy either.
I'm in RI and there's just one babywearing group that I found by Googling.
I highly recommend it. It's a nice social group, someone will teach you, you can try things for free, and you can rent different carriers for $5/month to try at home.

Sorry for the mastitis and boob psoriasis, oldbaylover1024. I'm sure no matter what you're going in with, the bra fitters have seen a lot worse. Get those bras!

It's 85° and sunny after being cold and rainy all week and now DS1 doesn't want to play outside. What gives, dude? We played in the miserable wet cold and now nothing. I'm staying out here and he can just howl at the tv hoping it'll magically turn on

Oh no oldbaylover1024!!! I am so sorry! I hope you feel better soon.
shellbell - our pedi is probably in her 40s. HOWEVER, I think the only reason she does not want N out in public is because he was a preemie and isn't on the growth charts yet because he was so tiny. Regardless, it's been driving me crazy lately. I'm missing a family birthday party right now and while I'm loving the quiet time at home with just N and I, it would've been nice to get out.

Is this the stuff that tastes like fennel? I tried it with DS1 and couldn't get past the first sip.

You guys... The universe seriously, without a doubt hates me.
I finally get out of the house and head to the mall. After fighting traffic to get there, I drive around for 25 minutes trying to find a spot to park. Before I even find a spot, my check oil light comes on. SERIOUSLY?! I call MH and he asks me what I did. WTF. Nothing! I'm not an idiot - I get it serviced every 3-5K miles. I'm not due for a change for almost 2K miles. He hangs up on me. If you wanna really REALLY piss me off, hang up on me.
So I took the car to our mechanic, and on the way there the fucking light goes out! So I wait an hour while they check the oil and wait for the light to come back on. It never does. I look like a fucking idiot.
So I head home, with no bras and my day alone all effed up. I get home and slip on the ice in front of our house. The same ice I asked MH to take care of two days ago. So... I fucking scraped it all myself and cleared the whole walkway.
MH gets home with the kids like nothing happened. Let's just say we're not speaking.

Thanks for the recommendation. I was actually on a systemic treatment for a year because my skin is so bad. My treatment options aren't safe for pregnancy or breastfeeding, so I've been off then for about 18 months (I stopped months before we started TTC). It's from head to toe... Everywhere. Ugh I'm so sexy.

My 18mo old has a high fever, 104 but we can get it down to 102 with meds. She's asleep now but I will be waking her for meds since I don't want it to spike too high. Ugh, dear god if somehow Poppy could not get this that would be great. I don't want to visit the ER tonight!

So with LO1 I hated the taste and was told to put honey in it. Near the end i actually started to like it.

My unicorn baby gave me a run for my money today. She was fussy, didn't nap, wanted to eat every hour, etc. She seems to be back to her normal habits now, thank goodness. She's napping now and took a nice nap earlier as well. FX for a night that doesn't involve waking up every 45 minutes!
@jacks605 I'll have to put some in tomorrow! It definitely needs something. Did you find that it improved your supply?
I think it helps. I drink two cups a day probably 5-6 days a week. I first did fenugreek and with the amount I had take it gave LO1 major gas and the tea seemed not to hard on her but still helped my supply.
