I had to work on a legal brief tonight. Twins are in the living room with me sleeping in the RnP. I don't want to wake them to bring them upstairs. So now im trying to sleep on the couch. I know as soon as I close my eyes someone will be ready to eat.

Here. My husband already back at work so I'm solo with baby. Not much he can do without tests anyway, but nice to let him do diaper changes while I pee, etc. She sleeps all day and fusses for a large portion of the night.

Up feeding Max. Elena was just crying, too, but seems to have worked it out on her own. After waking up every hour and a half during the day yesterday, I just got 4 hours out of Max! Too bad I didn't also go to sleep that early.
I'm exhausted. A has had really bad gas the last couple of nights and it looks like the trend is continuing. I don't really get it soluble it only seems to be at night and she's fine during the day, she also doesn't seem to be in pain from it just general fussiness. Whatever it is I need it to be over since she's only sleeping in about 30 minute chunks now and I'm desperate for sleep
ETA- does this sound normal? Any advice or tips?
Bicycle her legs and hold her with her legs in a frog pose.

I'm up for DDs second feeding. She was cluster feeding hardcore from about 7:30-1030. She was literally eating until she spit up the entire time. I handed her to DH and said I was empty. He got her relaxed and then ds woke up and was hysterical. So now ds is in our bed, Dh is on the couch and the poor dog doesn't know what to do since there's laundry on half of the other couch, DDs blanket is on the ottoman and I'm in the recliner. We are a mess over here.

Maybe trying a probiotic ? My DD was super gassy too with reflux and we had to put her on Zantac at 8 weeks and had her sleeping upright in the RNP. We also ended up switching her to Alimentum as she wasn't tolerating my breast milk or any other formula :/.
Pregsomnia has hit me hard at 38 weeks. I also think I'm finally getting some BHs and possibly some other false labor contractions? They feel like menstrual cramps. Neither of them are remotely consistent, but it's nice to see my ute is doing something to prepare for for birth.
ugaqueencity if the gas is coming out maybe something else is making her fussy ? My guy farts all the time. I do plan to bring it up at his doctors appt tomorrow because let's be honest,I have no clue.

. grief is a mother fucker. I'm sorry his mom is still struggling - perhaps a long, solo car ride is just too overwhelming to think about, regardless of the amazing grandchild on the other side. At the same time I completely understand your husband's reaction to her decision.
I don't know that there's any way to make it easier, though. You have the family you have. Nearly all of my in-laws live locally, so of course they have met my kids. My parents now live here but that was very recent - everyone else is very far away. None of the rest of my family has met them yet, with the exception of my brother very very recently. That's how it goes.
I have a chiropractor appointment this morning and then C's 18mo well visit. I'm hoping the chiro will help get things moving because I would really like to have a baby ASAP. 6 days overdue now. Ugh.
You have my sympathies!
Come on baby clawsome-time to evacuate.
I hope the chiro feels great and helps speed things up.

ugaqueencity gas isn't by itself bad or painful. Her fussiness could be completely unrelated to gas. Maybe she's getting more aware of her surroundings and likes cuddles. Babies are cute, frustrating mysteries sometimes.
FWIW, Max is a really loud sleeper *at night.* He hardly makes a peep during the day, though, and he sleeps in the same place basically all the time. I don't know what it is about night time - but he's not awake or seemingly uncomfortable, he just makes a lot of noise in his sleep. He is instantly quiet if I pick him up, but that ain't happening all night. He's not fussy in general, just an active, grunty/whiny night sleeper. I basically ignore him until he's actually crying, and even then I at least go pee first because half the time he goes back to sleep before I'm done.
Thanks for the good thoughts everyone! Did cervidil for the night but it didn't do much. I am having pretty regular mild contractions but cervix is pretty much the same. They took it out an hour ago and are about to start Pitocin. Getting a little nervous for the pit 😳

Some here with night asleep. Idk why my girl is so loud.
