M slept 7 hours and L only woke up for a single quick feed. Go babies!
This morning, MH gets to haul out our chest freezer and hundreds of pounds of rotten food. I will probably evacuate the house with the babies after the big kids are at daycare so we are not needlessly subjected to stench. I'm thinking a leisurely trip to Walmart.
Good news: LO1 stayed in her room and finally didn't try to come into our bed!!! She was so proud of herself.
Bad news: She peed in her bed. Took our stay in your bed too literally.
We apparently can't win!
She's home this morning because she has a 9:30 dentist. She's literally terrified of any medical people so last visit wasn't bad so FX this is good too and she lets him actually see her teeth!
Then home for baths for the twins and some butt massages for Miss O to try to get things moving so she's not cranky anymore.

nomnom ugh so sorry about the freezer. That is the absolute worst! Hope you have a nice trip out of the house.
@jacks605 hope O gets some relief soon!
Another so so night here. Z also ok until about 4 when the gas got the best of her. She wouldn't settle back down in her RnP so she slept on me until about 6. DH is at work today so I'm on my own until tomorrow morning. I was hoping to venture out today, but I didn't get a chance to shower yesterday so I'm kretty gross. We're also on day 2 of Z not pooping so she's being really fussy. Hopefully she'll get some relief today.

Clara normally nurses a lot between 5:30-7, and this morning I tried the paci instead because she kept popping off. So now my boobs are hurting. Ouch. She also pooped through her diaper and pajamas and I leaked all over the bed. So, I guess I'll be washing the sheets today. It was time anyway.
C and I are taking my grandma to her appointment today. She's been waiting forever for an insert for a hernia, and had to reschedule last week due to the storm. I told her I would take her - I mean, sitting with C in the OB waiting room is not much different than sitting with her at home... right?? That's what I'm telling myself.
N had his 2 month appt yesterday which meant his first set of shots. He's been absolutely miserable, it was a rough night. He is 9lbs and 21 inches - still not on the charts but we're getting there! We were finally given clearance to give him in an actual bath instead of constant sponge baths. His umbilical cord situation kept us from doing one for so long but since it's healing and looks more like a hernia now she thinks it'll be fine to.
I am heading to my 6wk visit. I've already started working out and we have had sex twice so being "cleared" is a little lol. I do need to figure out some kind of BC though.

I have my 6 week pp appointment today. DH has both kiddos while I'm gone. It's 40 minutes away and I plan on taking my sweet time. Also getting a coffee on the way home. Have fun DH.

@preppy, I actually started thinking about having sex last night. Which is crazy. My first pp experience was so different - it wasn't even on my radar until about 2 months out!
ETA: there was no sex last night. I'm not *that* ready. Lol

Last time I was terrified and we waited until 8 weeks and it was not bad. This time I was ready so much earlier, I had a much easier delivery and recovery. DH made me wait a little cause he was nervous but we both gave in this weekend:)
Started my meds. for the mastitis yesterday so hopefully things will clear up soon. We have DD's 2.5 year appointment and LO's 1 month appointment this afternoon. Making DH come along because 2 kids at the doctor by myself sounds like actual hell.
The baby peed into my hands yesterday when I was getting her ready for her bath. It was a body fluid bingo basically--I've now officially had them all from her onto me, lol.

nomnom, so sorry about your freezer, that really really sucks. pivot, I hope you're feeling better soon.
I got more paperwork for my maternity leave from work. They want me to be back April 4th, which is not happening. I'm currently waiting for a call back from HR. Getting the letter last night ruined my evening and is making me dread today. But I am getting to a place of acceptance about staying home if they aren't willing to extend my leave.

Oh and S woke up only one time between feedings at 10:40pm and 7:00am. I got two very solid blocks of sleep. This was a first over here. I hope it happens again!
notagoddess I'm sorry your work is being so shitty. I got laid off while on mat. leave with DD. I was so upset about it at first but I ended up with extra time with my baby and found a new job with an awesome company. I hope things work out for you the way you want them to and if not there may be something better waiting for you. Hugs.

I'm pretty discouraged that DH might leave before in cleared or comfortable to get back to sex. That will be the longest no sex stretch we've ever have. I hope that doesn't happen, more so for him than me, but it's still a really sad fact.
DS is doing much better about getting back into his bassinet at night. Hallelujah. My hips do not allow for side sleeping for very long. Yesterday my left hip was clicking everywhere I went. I hope it give me a break today.
I also tried grocery ordering online yesterday. I scheduled the delivery to arrive today so we will see if it works out. It might be my saving grace while DH is away.

Thanks for this. I'm trying to have faith that it will work out one way or another. I absolutely would not mind having additional time with S.

nomnom that sucks so bad about the freezer and lost meat. Sorry.
flyinghorses6 enjoy your alone time, you deserve it! You should probably run into terrible "traffic" (And take your pump so you aren't on a boob clock).
I think R and I will head to Carter's and Bath and Body Works today. Everything at Carter's is 50% off and Bath and abody has their wall flowers on sale. Yesterday I officially scheduled R's baptism, so I feel very accomplished. Except we are doing it at the church at home (2 hours way) and based on C's t-ball and other schedule things we aren't able to do it until mid July.

E has been super fussy for the last two days. During the day, she won't even go two hours without a bottle before the screaming starts. And at night, we'll get maybe 3.5 hours out of her. And the thing is, she's not like nomming insanely. She's eating less, just more frequently.
Maybe it's a growth spurt? All I know is therapy is going to be super fun if she starts screaming.
oldbaylover1024 I commend you for wearing jeans. I just did 3 loads of my laundry (I know - it's been a while) and it all together contained one pair of jeans.
loves2shop4shoes You are supplementing right? DS did the same thing recently and we realized he just wanted more food so we upped his supplement bottle. He's much happier now. Maybe try offering an extra ounce at feedings and see if that helps?
I signed up for my cities half marathon today. It's not until November but now I have something to work towards when working out/running. I need a goal to work towards or it's likely not to happen.
Dentist was a failure...LO1 got back and screamed to go. Literally screaming all the way back to the front desk. Went to daycare and meltdown there. Brought her home...this girl needs attention badly but so hard with twins. At least DH is taking a vacation day Friday to take her for a daddy day.

Got the all clear from Doc for exercise (which I started doing lightly 3 weeks ago) and sex. But they can't place an IUD for 6-8 weeks. Pull and pray method until then? We haven't used condoms in 10 years soooo doubt that will happen.
It's almost nap time...putting toddler down and hopefully getting my workout in. I was so pumped to see my weight at the office, and it's motivating me extra to keep up the healthy changes I've made, and keep doing these workouts. It's definitely not easy finding time in my day to get them in--but starting Friday I'll have my mornings back in the gym a few times a week.
Yesterday my 25 min circuit took 40 minutes. Two toddler interruptions for milk and snack, 1 poop explosion with R, and a quick nursing session. I have yet to get through it top to bottom with no interruptions; but I'm hopeful today is the day.

Good for you pivot that is so awesome. I'm not really one for endurance running (I can run like 3-5 miles max). But I wish I had something like this to work for. I'm kinda saying "summer is right around the corner", but in all honesty I don't think I'll ever like what I look like in a bathing suit again we will have to see I guess
