Do you guys do intros here? I'm a regular on GBCN, and have lurked here a little, and figured now is as good of time as any to start posting.
H and I welcomed our little boy (Caleb) on March 7. It's been a whirlwind the last two weeks! He's a great baby - so far (knock on wood) he's not fussy. Watching H be a dad has been amazing. He was nervous at first, but he's awesome, and clearly C has him wrapped around his finger.
Hoping to join in more often - hope you ladies don't mind! If you want to know anything, ask away!
I think I can vouch for you, as I recognize some of the info from GP on GBCN. (I have the same username on both)
Congrats on your little boy! If I remember correctly, you had an induction, right? Any advice? I go in tomorrow night to start mine.
Yup, that's me!
I was induced at 38-weeks due to bp issues (which eventually was labeled pre-e). I've been meaning to type out my birth story, but it's a little long and actually ended with an emergency c-section after a day plus of labor (Combo of the bp and baby's position, and a failed vacuum).
The induction itself wasn't bad - for me, it took a long time (I wasn't really effaced or dialated yet though). Take something with to entertain yourself, and sleep if/when you can! My situation wasn't the norm - I'm sure yours week be much smoother!
