I slept in my car on lunch. It's 60 here today so it was a nice way of getting fresh air and catching up on some of the sleep I lost last night. I can totally see how some people just let their kids crawl into bed with them. Last night my willpower was low but I made it through.
3 hasn't even hit yet and I want to skip this year 🙄
I've heard the first 6 months of 3 are the worst and it starts getting better around 3.5. I don't know how true it is, but I'm holding onto it!
This better be true, then maybe I'll have a short sweet spot when DS1 is 3.5 and DS2 isn't 18 months yet. Because we all know terrible twos start by 18 months! 🙄
DS came home with a swollen lip. DC said he fell while running. He keeps switching between acting normal and being pouty. How worried do I need to be about his teeth? I don't see any damage and I tapped them to see if they were loose and they're not.

I'd give it a couple days before I worry about it. I can be a little lax though

We had an appointment with Dd1s speech therapist. She read up more about apraxia and really thinks its what is causing her speech issues. She is now reaching out to everyone that she knows to see if there is an evaluation that will help her diagnose Dd1 if she has it. If she can find one, and the evaluation says she has it, she is going to resubmit to our insurance, because it would show that Dd1 has a medical reason for needing the therapy covered.

I'm going to wait and see since I didn't notice anything and by the time he went to bed, he didn't seem bothered by it.
DH is watching the Rogue one star wars movie and I'm BORED. Like I'm so bored I'm thinking of going to bed early.
Was this the one most recently in theaters? Heard it was not good at all from lots of Star Wars fans. I go to bed early anytime Star Wars is on my tv 😂

Nooo! I really enjoyed that movie! I was confused most of the way through though because I hadn't read what it was about and thought it was a sequel to the last one and not a prequel
DS is clearly the freak here but on the weekends he takes 2.5 hour naps and often doesn't wake up until 4. He goes to bed at 8 no problem. I'll be really sad when he stops napping
No discount on the ER bill. We don't qualify for financial assistance and they said the cost was already lowered to my plans contracted amount (a savings of $400! She exclaimed on the phone..... whatever lady).

Has anyone done Weight Watchers online? DH's newish job of about a year is way less physical than his old one so he has been gaining. I could always lose a bit so we were thinking of trying this together

One of my coworkers has been doing it. I know she said she doesn't like going to weigh ins so is doing it this way.
She has lost over 30 lbs so far and likes it. She just makes sure to plan and log what she is eating. If she wants to have a couple of drinks later then she makes better choices during the day. It does work.

I've done Weight Watchers before was just wondering about the online thing. We don't have time in our week for a mtg right now

I've done WW before, tracking online and going to meetings. I was pretty successful with it because you don't have to exclude any food groups. I'll warn you though, DH and I did it together once and he lost a lot faster than I did even though we were eating the same things, because, men.
ETA: I don't think the online part is any different other than you weigh yourself at home. I guess it depends on whether you need the accountability of weighing in in person and going to meetings.
I'm soooo jealous footloosekittyriot! I was literally supposed to be in Toronto last night for a conference but my boss decided that my coworker could use some conference attendance experience. Bummed!
