Today is going to be crazy busy at work. I have Dr appointment on my lunch. It's seems that every time I have an afternoon appointment she's had to reschedule because she has to go deliver a baby. I'm not complaining just a trend I have noticed.

Good morning ladies! G and I are up. I went to bed early so I feel almost well rested but I still need coffee. She had a better night last night but is still congested. I made us eggs and turkey bacon. It was so good. Today we are going to the toddler group at the library and then we are just going to hang at home this afternoon. Then at 8 I am heading into work for a few hours.
I've just been feeling down all weekend and now I'm looking at a day with no specific plans for the toddler. We'll go to open gym but that's not super exciting. And tomorrow there's no story time. So sad.

I'm grumpy this morning. H and I went to sleep at the same time, and he's still upstairs. Meanwhile A has been a cranky mess all morning, and I could have used some backup. He's gonna come downstairs, bitch about being tired, and leave.

Down about something in particular, or just general blahs? Either way I'm sorry, friend. Feeling that way can be so draining. I'm sure you and M will find something to do! I'm queen of having no plans for the kid, but when all else fails I save up little errands that we can run just to get out of the house.

Thanks lady. Just feeling a little blah in general. Not sure what's going on. My parents come on Saturday so that should help.

Took A to gymnastics. I farmed that duty out to DH when he went back to working afternoons, and I forgot how exhausting it can be.
Also, I met a Ukrainian lady there! I guess she overheard me talking to A. Not super uncommon here (though you're a LOT more likely to hear Polish), but I've really struggled trying to find/fit in to that community since I moved. Anyway I made an ass of myself because it turns out my conversational Ukrainian is somewhat rusty. Singing songs, reading, and talking with A is toooootally different, ahahaha. Guess I haven't had real-world practice in a while. I'm sure my parents and grandparents are all spinning in their graves over me struggling to hold my own in my first language...whoops.

bwisco123 we are boycotting pants over here, too. She was ok with getting dressed for gymnastics, but yanked them off at diaper change. Now hanging out in long sleeves, socks, and a diaper.
I could use a weekend do over! K had the stomach flu and I am hoping the rest of us don't get it. We already had it back in Feb. We had to facetime with MIL Sunday who talked about SIL's pregnancy, as though it was public knowledge and everyone knew. Then she threw in, if I have anything I am not using anymore they would welcome it....UM HELL NO! I would rather donate it to a stranger in need. DH was annoyed that the only reason she wanted to face time was to ask. Then she said hope you can make the shower June 4th, I said if I had known earlier, I could have made it work, I am signed up to attend a conference for work that week / weekend. We find out later this week who was selected to go. She was annoyed at me...and said well this is your niece, and I hope you would make it work, I almost lost my mind.
We had a great day outside yesterday. I hope we get more sunny warm days soon. THis grey, rainy, cold, snowy mess needs to end.
The double stroller got here today. It has a few spots that look a bit bumped up but it works and it was good deal. It feels so big though! I pulled out my bucket seat to see how it fit. I can't believe I'm going to be doing the little baby thing again.
So we had our temporary hearing last week. My H now gets visitation every Wednesday-Thursday and every other Wednesday-Sunday. I am beyond angry/frustrated/sad/you name it. I was led to believe that he would probably just get the standard visitation. The judge only read our affidavits and truly has no real idea of our situation and it makes me so angry that she was supposed to make a decision in the best interest of my DS, but really she just flipped his world upside down and I'm fully expecting to have a basket case on my hands after him being away from me 4 nights this week. I'm so devastated. I'm not looking for hair pats, just venting. You ladies are always a great support system regardless of how little I post here. I can count on you more than most of my IRL friends.

I was going to go and get G from her crib but she just settled down and is being quiet. I am going to wait a few more minutes and pray she falls asleep. It's now been 2 hours since she was put in there.

I don't totally know what's going on really other than you went to court laur1020 but I'm sorry you're having a hard time. I hope that your LO is ok. He has a mom who loves him-it's amazing how resilient that can make a child. Hugs.
Called the DC director today after the poop incident on Friday. It went really well and she was super receptive and glad I called. And M came home clean today. The new floater who I think was to blame wasn't in her room anyway, but still.
