We just got back from Mexico last night. We had a great time with only a few issues. Elora hated the crib there, only napped in her stroller (which did work in my favour) and one night slept all night in it. She was very happy to have her crib at home and is still sleeping when she should have been up long ago. She flew well until we landed in Ontario where she then threw up all over DH. Thankfully we had already landed though! He didn't have a change of clothes on him. Though some woman was a bitch when she could smell it and commented how this was why she never had children. Which he then turned and told her off.

Tomorrow is my bday. And friends of ours are watching LO on Saturday night (after bed) so we can go to the movies... so excited! But also so nervous. LO has never been left with a non family member, fingers crossed she doesn't wake up!!

Happy early bday. I'm sure she'll be ok. What movie are you planning to see?
Anyone else's LO starting to drop the AM nap? I just rocked K for one entire hour and not a wink of sleep! Wtf?
We dropped the morning nap a week or 2 ago because it was making the afternoon nap too short and a cranky girl in the afternoons. It has been going ok. She gets tired before lunch and occasionally I'll lay her down for like 20 minutes if I can tell she won't make it to nap time at 12:30. Afternoon nap has been awesome though! And she's happy and fine until her normal bedtime, around 8.

K is still taking pretty long morning naps. I had to wake her at 12:45 today to go pick up the boys from school (she went down around 10:20 since I went to crossfit.) It's almost 4 and she's ready to go down again, but it will probably be an hour.

Whenever I put k's coat on she yells bye really loud and walks to the door waving her hand. I need to get it on video but I'm too busy dying from the cuteness.
When I picked J up from daycare yesterday he had a fever. It kept getting higher so I gave him Ibuprofen when I put him to bed. He woke up screaming at 10:45. Like one of those blood curdling, send you running screams. He's a little sluggish and cranky this morning. He was fever free for a couple of hours, but it came back. No other symptoms. Not sure what's going on. This isn't his typical respiratory illness.

I'm sorry. Is he any better?
Yes, thanks for asking. He just has a low grade fever today and is acting pretty much like his normal self according to dad.
We just had to do a full blood draw... poor LO. It was awful!! She just kept trying to look at me being like why are you allowing this.
Poor baby. What did they need the blood for?
She tested low iron from the finger prick at a year, so we went back to test again and there was no improvement (after vitamins and food changes) so they wanted to do the full draw... we got a prescription for iron supplements now and then we will do another draw in a month to see if she starts improving
