It freaking snowed last night. My poor, poor garden. We had all our daffodils bloomed & a ton of tulips starting to pop up but not flower yet so hopefully they are still okay because tomorrow is supposed to be near 60 & then it gets to like high 70s Sunday & Monday. Stupid weather.

We were thinking of leaving tonight & going halfway & staying the night somewhere but I don't want to waste $ to not being able to take advantage of being at a hotel for the full time. We'd be there for what, maybe 10 hours if that. Ughhhh I hate driving. Blahhhh DS is at his art class. DH is at the car rental place. I'm getting ready to head out soon. I have to hit up the bank before getting DS.
DD visited a farm today with school, they are doing a farm theme now and they actually got to watch a lamb being born. It made no impression on her whatsoever because she's one of the littles that did not happen to be in front so she saw exactly nothing. Not even sure if she was aware what was going on. She only mentioned seeing some lambs that were very young, 'just from the mom's tummy'. Other highlights apparently were petting lambs and a calf and playing with bikes and carts. I love that her school does things like that.
So, we did a personality/temperament thing with Healthy Families, and Ridley is solidly in the high intensity category. Which totally explains why she is so cuddly and excitable and also why she holds her breath crying for 15 minutes when the ice cream is gone. Lol. I foresee a lot of tantrums in my future!
Our power has been out since early this morning. Our stock of canned foods is laughable, and Ridley wouldn't eat her peanut butter sandwich (which was the only option for lunch because everything else is in the fridge/freezer). Really glad she's still breastfeeding and skipping lunch isn't that big of a deal. Hopefully the power comes back on soon, I have no idea what we'd do for dinner.
