ars093s I was AMA when pregnant with M sms was told I could do exercise I had done previously. If I remember correctly it's your heart rate not getting above an unaccustomed level. But they were super crazy about it. Basically what they said was don't go from walking 2 miles to 10 miles or take up the new hobby of power lifting. I agree with shellyr on calling your OB.
Short day at work today due to M having physical therapy. Then tomorrow we will get to leave work at 3!
I'm not looking forward to physical therapy though. M usually loses his shit with her. He's also still been resistant to climbing stairs just holding onto one rail. He'll do it holding onto one hand, but not the rail. It's just an hour, I just need to remind myself that.
ars093s, that's odd. My dr basically said don't do anything you haven't been doing. At that time, it was nothing haha but he was okay with pregger yoga. I would definitely call.
It took me forever to go to sleep but damn I slept hard when I did.
I hope everyone has a good day with minimal tantrums and I hope the kids nap and eat. We have a new work study starting today so I may be MIA most of the day.
Ds woke up at 3 crying at his door and would only stay in bed after h went in. Stubborn little shit. Im going to take a nap on my train ride in to work.

The prenatal yoga I have been to is pretty gentle so that seems weird to me. I couldn't do jack first tri because I felt awful. I tried to do Zumba once in 2nd tri and it hated the way my belly bounced up and down. I also was anxious about incompetent cervix the whole time so I never went again. My old daycare always washed hands when he got there before sitting down for breakfast. This one doesn't but probably should. Oh well. I just wash the kid's hand when they are dirty be use he always wants to grab the faucet and spray water everywhere.
Nightmares last night but playing at the park today. There's a part where birds get fed so it should be quite fun. May all the coffee be sweet, naps be long, and meals be calm.

xp DS woke up at 12:30 shrieking terribly so I went to check in on. He wanted to lay down with me and nurse. I wasn't caving to that so I put him back and he shrieked a bit more before going back to sleep. Ah. Toddler tantrums. I have a busy day at work today and should probably leave now before he wakes up and sees me.
Short day today. H, DS and I all have dentist appointments. Then we are driving about an hour to go eat for H's birthday. He wants to go to a smorgasbord and he gets to eat free on his birthday. Who am I to say no?! Good news is the kids should both eat well too.

Re: toddler eating, I have noticed that even if P initially refused something, she will sometimes go back and eat it. I have a high chair that can be adjusted into a kids size chair, so that's how I have it. Sometimes she refuses food and wants out. I let her out, put the tray back on and leave he food on the tray. More often than not, she ends up wandering over and eating some of it eventually. The danger is that sometimes she will wander off with food in hand and leave part of it somewhere. I found part of a sandwich in the cabinet I let her play in. They also told me at daycare that she eats everything but she's a very slow eater.
Yesterday the 3 yo stated she hated the chocolate fudge gold fish, she picked out, and today she stated she loves them. Weirdo.
I found rice crispy treats stuck to C blanket in his crib today. The blanket doesn't leave the crib, he doesn't like rice crispy treats and he doesn't eat in the crib. Someone figure this out for me.
How are you feeling today taketheshot? Also I was thinking of your funk, when's the last time you've been kid free for like 12 or 24 hours? I think you need some "me" time.
th3stryck3r w does this sometimes too. We can't leave food out because we have a dog but when he signs he's "all done" I always tell him "I see that you're all done but we're still eating so you have to stay there". Sometimes he'll eat more because he has to sit there anyway and I/we get to finish our food so it's a win/win.

That doesn't work for us, c is like yea whatevs and pushes his chair back. Then starts chanting down, down, down. We put him down and he runs over to the carpet and starts 🕺 dancing. We get dinner and a show every night.
ampaints, I want to throw a gif party to celebrate you and your accomplishments but life. So enjoy this and a huge congrats! You should get a babysitter and go out with the hubs to celebrate!

Hi @janetheconquerer, thanks for asking. I'm currently sitting at the breakfast table with my child yelling No at me as I'm trying to get her to eat the banana she picked out. If I ignore her she will eventually eat something. As far as the mental funk, I get this way every month before my period. I hate it. I can't control it. I just get really miserable and angry and short tempered. Then I lose my temper, at say.. A stubborn toddler, and then feel worse about losing my cool. I've been extremely busy every weekend with bridal showers/events, birthday parties, and other various commitments, so no.. No "me" time other than the gym in the morning.
When I went in for my pregnancy test last week, my doc (GP, not my OB) told me no working out until 2nd trimester. Because I haven't been consistent with it lately and I'm AMA. Is that normal advice? I get not pushing myself, but I mentioned doing a pre-natal yoga DVD and she said no. Nothing more than walking. I'm gonna check with my OB at my 6 wk appt to see what he thinks.
This seems weird to me. I mean, prenatal yoga is low impact like walking. Like ampaints said, I wouldn't start power lifting but walking and yoga seems like a good plan to me.
ars093s I was just shy of being AMA during my second pregnancy. My doctors encouraged me to keep doing the exercise I was doing. They just didn't want me to start anything new. Well darn, guess that marathon that I've never wanted to run will have to wait.
Yesterday the 3 yo stated she hated the chocolate fudge gold fish, she picked out, and today she stated she loves them. Weirdo.

Can A get in the crib? Maybe she was trying to feed him treats?

This is C too. She just wants to explore and snacks on the run. I usually put out a plate with raisins and crackers so they can get thijgs if they want them. Whatever kid, just eat something.

Re: food. Somedays the kids eat great and other times I think they run on air. Day care tells me both of them eat all their meals and snacks. I figure if they only eat a slice a bread with me, overall, their diet is fine since they are doing fine at day care.
I think of it more in an overall, how does their diet look like for the week rather than getting stuck in specific meal times.
