abominationsnowman yup! Our garage side door is already busted because DS locked DH outside in his underwear 😂😂😂😂 (he was just hooking the dog up to the chain in the back real quick and DS really fucked him over haha)
Me: 39 DH: 39 DS1 born Sept 1999 Married Nov 2010 TTC 2010 2011 BFP ended in ectopic RE Aug 2014. Unexplained infertility Sept 2014-Dec 2014 fermera/IUI/TI BFN's
August 16, 2015 baby Boy M is born and our hearts melt!
N doesn't care for the Canadian nuggets but will eat some. He's a nugget snob apparently. I don't even try to get him to eat our food anymore. I know I should but 🤷🏻♀️ Tonight he ate 2 nuggets, a pouch, and some puffs. It's like he's 12 months instead of 19...
So I switched phones (because I can't find a decent place to repair my screen after A threw it on the marble floor of the bank). My old phone knew all of your names to tag and would suggest them to me. I have to type them all out again on this new phone and it's driving me crazy. FWP.
When I went in for my pregnancy test last week, my doc (GP, not my OB) told me no working out until 2nd trimester. Because I haven't been consistent with it lately and I'm AMA. Is that normal advice? I get not pushing myself, but I mentioned doing a pre-natal yoga DVD and she said no. Nothing more than walking. I'm gonna check with my OB at my 6 wk appt to see what he thinks.
2) we're thinking of maybe getting a tablet for w so he leaves my phone alone but can still play alphabet games and stuff. Does anyone else do this and if so do you have any recommendations for something they can't break?
So, I am a day behind and haven't caught up. Apologizing in advance for any repeat answers.
K has the Kindle Fire. It comes with a protective bumper thing on it and a no questions asked warranty.
2 parenting questions. 1) are you guys washing your kids hands before meals etc? I may wipe them down but I haven't set up the sinks for him to do it either by himself or with my help. My friend has though and has been doing it for months... Are we supposed to be doing this? Or is she doing the most montessori style?
Again, sorry for a day late response... daycare will wash hands before lunch, but I don't at home unless they are visibly dirty.

That seems a little over cautious to me. I would definitely see what your OB says.

Random thought. There's a lady in my moms club whose daughter is severely allergic to peanuts. She was 16 months old when she put her hand on her dads pb and touched her chest. The reaction when through three layers of clothing. Welts and hives. This was back when the recommendation was 2 yrs. I can't even imagine the level of fear. Her daughters in kindergarten.

Okay, I know I'm a day late to this, and I haven't read through the responses yet. But, I do the wipe thing too. C is interested in washing hands because she sees us do it, but the most I've done is sit her next to the sink so I can help her put her hands under the water. She doesn't regularly wash hands.
I was thinking about thisbrhe other day, because we were in target and J had to use the bathroom. There was another mom and kid in the bathroom, and she was singing some song about washing tops, palms, between fingers, and wringing them. Apparently she's prepping her kid to perform surgery later? Just doesn't seem necessary for this age. I'm happy J remembers to use soap.
There is a song daycare has taught DS..
Scrub, scrub, scrub your hands, scrub them nice and clean. Scrub the bottom and the top fingers in between. He sings it twice while washing.
