taketheshot I'm sorry you guys had a rough day. I think we're all hitting the picky eater toddler stage lately. Hope it ends soon.
It'll never end lol. My kids are pretty good eaters, but it is always changing. Dd grew up loving macaroni and sauce, she loves pizza, but now won't touch red sauce unless it's on pizza. That's it.
Mind boggling.
Lmao as I typed it I knew it was just wishful thinking. 😂
I'm in charge of dessert Sunday for the ILs Easter lunch. I'm doing the least and getting strawberry shortcake from HT or Publix. HT would be easier because that's where I get my groceries. Publix would be better..

tuscanlatte, I'm sure it was a combination of frustrating and terrifying in the moment, but your DD's bathroom escapades definitely made for a hilarious story!

taketheshot, sorry for the rough day! I know I shouldn't but I always take it personally when P isn't into the food I've made her. And there's no consistency to it. These toddlers...

@betweenthelines, it may not be Christmas gift material this year, but one day, that picture day fail will be bringing your LOs joy. I love finding awkward photos of my sister and me.

The freaky white car story continues. Apparently daycare lady saw him several times on Saturday while she did yard work. At one point he stopped smiled at her and waved. On Sunday her son drove by his car (they have followed him) and he has two teddy bears in his front seat. Wtf! I'm so creeped out
I left my keys in the front door. One of those days. My kid smells like sweat and dirt and he needs a bath but it's late and I just want to put him to bed. Adulting sucks. Also h won't be home till God knows when.
tuscanlatte, oh I laughed. Napping on the floor is the perfect touch. I'm glad you got her out without having to break the door. We've had to kick in three doors in the last year.
I have a mountain of housework and no motivation to do any of it. This week is stupidly busy and I just want to lounge.
Going to have cake and a beer. W's schedule is all thrown off but we had a lot of fun so I think it was worth it. I told h we played with shaving cream and food dye and he asked if it was going to come off.... Nope h I've dyed our son blue forever. 😂
Yay beer! H isn't going to be home for another few hours, the kid is asleep, I have cake, a dog snuggled up to me, and a TV all to myself (that's won't be on PBS). It's the little things.
All that remains is to hope I did a good enough job. I edited over and over and held it until I felt good about it. But this teacher is such a tough grader. Nothing to do now but wait.
