At church this morning, they do a children's message up front with the kids and the pastor sitting on the steps of the altar. P got up and tried to flip over the communion rail. I was mortified! Everyone was laughing and I had to run up there and sit with her the rest of the time.
We did multiple days of egg hunts. I organized the Easter brunch at church, which had attendance in the 150-200 range. The kids had a blast! I'm sure that we will be re-hiding plastic eggs for weeks to come.

Our weekend was nice. But, we went to an egg hunt and I was appalled by the behavior of some adults. These were 0-3 year old and the adult ran around getting all the eggs they could. I saw women with grocery bags full of plastic eggs and watched a dude snake an egg out from my 1 1/2 year old. Who the fuck does that?! It wasn't about the crap inside, I had to toss most of it and I gladly would have given the people all that shit. My kid just wanted to find some damn eggs. I know my kid was over it pretty quick, but I was really annoyed. Such jerks.

I don't even understand this. What is wrong with people? I hope you guys managed to have fun anyways.
I don't really give my kids sweets. The twins have never had candy or chocolate. So when they found them all over the place on Easter, I figured they don't know what it is or what to do with it. They're not going to touch it. I. Was. Wrong! Olivia kept finding chocolate and unwrapping it like a pro! I have no idea how many she had. 15? 30? 50 pieces??? No clue. Thankfully no stomach ache or staying up at night. At one point I found her hiding underneath the slide with like 10 pieces around her. I was like dude, where are you getting all this from??!
The boys were more into running around and playing, which is what I was expecting. Of course nobody properly napped that day. :/

kensie5226, Wow, who does that at an egg hunt meant for toddlers?!?
We had a good Easter weekend. I had to work (at least I got time and a half on Easter), but we still got to go to Easter Vigil Saturday night and then went out to breakfast on Easter morning.
