So I'm laughing because I already started a topic about pee... but what's normal for your kids? And did you delivery vaginally or c/s?
A little backstory- MH and his whole family are digestive disasters-no one has been diagnosed but one pretty sure they all have IBD, and wouldn't be shocked if one of them was diagnosed with a mild form of crohns. My kids poop 4-6 times a day, sometimes more. Generally soft. W is sometimes hard, A is borderline diarrhea about half the time. The allergist suggested that c/s babies have more trouble with this and recommended probiotics. But they are technically in the realm of normal, so our pediatrician isn't concerned. I'm starting to wonder if I should push back. And also dreading potty training kids that poop ALL.THE.TIME.

Vaginally delivery here and DD2 is a 0-2 time a day popper, regular consistency. So very "normal" I guess. Probiotics never hurt, but they usually aren't very cheap. Do they like yogurt? Maybe try putting them on Activia? I have digestive issues, (nothing diagnosed except for my spastic colon), but sometimes when my body is getting out of wack I switch to that and it really does help me even though I found their old Activia challenge commercials so rediculous. They'd have to eat it daily but if they're like my kids yogurt would be an easy daily snack to squeeze in there.
We picked up probiotics from the allergist that weren't terribly expensive - I suck at remembering them so they get them like 3 times a week? They LOVE yogurt, and that's what I put the meds in.

CS and 2-3 times a day. She actually almost always poops right when waking from sleep, which my ped said was odd, but wasn't a problem. So she usually poops when waking in the AM (or during Bfast), and when she wakes from her nap at D.C.

c/s about 3-4 times a day just at my ILs house. Usually soft but lately he's been a little constipated so poop has been kinda hard. DH was wondering if this was normal but I'm not sure he asked the doc last week for his 18 month checkup. I figured as long as it's not diarrhea, it's okay.

Vag delivery - 0-2 times a day. F has had a lot of belly issues (colic like a mo-fo and general gas and discomfort) so the formula we supplemented with had a probiotic in it and then we also got some baby probiotic too. We haven't really used it since we switched to straight cow's milk though.

Both of mine poop within 30 minutes of waking. Then usually during or immediately following breakfast. Again before or during lunch, and once more before nap. Usually wake up poopy. Poop at dinner. Poop before bed. It's just a literal shit show around here
I was home with DS for four straight days this weekend and he didn't poop until Monday evening. So he seems to get constipated. It's weird because at daycare, he usually poops consistently every afternoon. He eats a lot when he is home with me and he has lots of fruits and veggies, so I don't know what's up with that.
His poop is occasionally soft, but usually pretty solid from a young age. I'm trying to get him to have more liquids.
My daughter had very soft poop until she was over two. I think she survived more on breastmilk and didn't eat a lot of solid foods as a toddler though.
