Happy birthday @gustergirl!!!
I'm currently sitting outside the room as my two year old niece screams and tantrums about napping. This is per my sister in laws request. My niece is an adorable little tyrant you guys. I dare say she is the most stubborn, strong willed, tantrum throwing kid I have ever met. I am baffled at how my brother handles her because he has ZERO patience. He must rip his hair out on a daily basis.
In other news I have a job interview today! It kind of fell into my lap, but if it worked out it would be beyond perfect. It's a mom on Landon's baseball team who's one of the big real estate agents In our area. She's looking for a part time virtual assistant, compeltely work from home and only 10-15 hours a week. It's so perfect and I'm excited but trying not to get my hopes up.
We're also meeting with out Realator today to discuss the house we found and what our options are.
I talked to my boss about the conference because coworker said he already booked the room. I told him it really isn't good timing and I've been a part of this festival committee for 4 years and have a once year commitment to be involved with it. He said it doesn't matter to him if I go or not and he won't be mad. Whew. Plus, I have no idea who would hold down the fort if we were all gone. There would literally be nobody to work at the office.
There are more conferences later in the year that he might try to get me to go to. Sounds like a win-win for everyone!
slenle TTMA the cake! I have a very ambitious plan of making a three tired one... am I insane?
Not insane! It's not too hard, just make sure you have plenty of frosting! I ran a little low and wish I had more. I would try to use the size pan you want the cake to be so you don't have to deal if crumbs on the side if you cut it down
