Morning! B is at preschool and C and I are sneaking out to do some shopping for my trip next week. I really wanted a new swimsuit and cover up and the rest of this week and weekend is crazy so today is my last chance. Shh, don't tell my H !

GM everyone. I did DC drop off today too. B likes to act like a Miss Know it all - "Daddy doesn't go this way," "We have to drop off C first," "Now we put my back pack away." Just polished off my 2nd breakfast and sitting here TCF'ing until my 9.30 meeting.
Morning ladies! Pumping away at the Office. My H has spring break vacation, so he's home with the kids, which is nice. They made a Dutch apple pie this morning, and I can't wait to taste it tonight! Which reminds me, one of you made and ombré cake a few weeks ago, I need to pic your brain! Have a nice day ladies!
Went to my workout class and a walk with the kids. Now sitting on the couch eating 2nd breakfast as well.yummeecookee , what are/were your breakfasts?
I had waffles at home and then a blueberry muffin here at work. You?
Yum. Well I guess I'm technically on 3rd breakfast. I had 1/2 banana and pb before my workout, a few apple slices and string cheese after and now some scrambled eggs on jelly toast.

I think I would still have room for some of nam2013's pie!
guster happy birthday! Hope you got spoiled rotten and have fun things planned 😄.
We are taking a belated anniversary trip to our favorite beach area on the FL gulf coast. I'm excited--I haven't been to the beach without a kid in over 3 years. Being able to sit, read, and relax--without having to help build a sand castle, worry about drowning, dig a moat or tote buckets of water--bliss.
Thank you! MH took the day off so we can go out for a late lunch. We'll do cake and presents tonight, and I requested a cheese board and wine for after the kids go to bed. I'm most looking forward to that.
Happy birthday!
I had forgotten that you are a Taurus but the cheese and wine board has Taurus written all over it.

yummeecookee I feel you on the know it all kids. If M is shown how to do something, he has to do it that way every time. It's always, "No, we have to do it like this Mommy!"
Morning! H is at school, S and I will be going to barre class in a little bit. After being 70 all weekend the rest of this week is supposed to be in the 40s/50s, boo! H woke up and immediately wanted to drive her car. She's so funny, she kept telling me "I'm a good driver" while she was driving it yesterday.

Morning.
Feels great to wake up in my own bed this morning. I'm drinking my coffee and watching last night's Southern Charm. I have an appointment in a few hours, then errands to run before work.
I'm happy to report that M has been paci free for over a week! After the rough night or two when he started school last week, it has been smooth sailing ever since. Even with two babies with pacis around this weekend, he did great. Yesterday he asked for his when he woke up and then again before bed, but after we ignored the request, he was on to the next. I'm so proud of him, but also proud of myself. I know he was super attached, but I can admit that I was very reluctant to just do it and see him struggle. I'm proud of me, too. I didn't give in! ::pats self on the back:: lol.
My boss just came to talk to me and my coworker about sending us to Orlando this summer for a conference. I do not want to go. It's the same week as our town's summer festival, which DH and I are active with and part of the committee.
I know I should go, and he did say it as "if we want to go", but I don't want to look like I don't care about my job if I don't.
I'm stressing. Plus DH has never been without our kids without me for longer than a half a day. He is more than capable and I trust him, the problem is that he'll be busy with the festival activities in the evenings. But I want him to be with them, not ship them off to grandparents. You know?
I promise my son's hygiene will be impeccable, if I have to scrub him and slather him with deodorant myself.
I can remember in middle school you'd catch a whiff every now and then, esp. after PE. I feel like by high school the guys had their acts together, at least in regards to not smelling gross.
Back at the packing. A shopping break was just what I needed. I found a new swimsuit and coverup, and used a gift card from the holidays I'd been hoarding for a new Lilly dress. DH might kill me for bringing more stuff into the house, lol.
Also, we have a lead on a house in VA! I've been trying not to worry about finding a new place until we get out of this one but stuff goes quickly up there. Once DH gets home we'll chat about it.
So basically I've gotten a lot done today, except nothing that actually *needs* to be done today

I am in desperate need of a cut and color and I called my hair salon and they told me that my stylist no longer works there! Damnit! They said they didnt know where she works now (yea, right). I am going to solicit my neighborhood FB group for reccs.
