R was up like every 45 minutes all night long. Then up for the day at 5:30. I'm so sleepy. Yesterday was a long, exhausting, but fun day at the festival, so I was really hoping for better sleep than that.
Today we need to get our air conditioners put in and get groceries. I think we have to get more foam for the windows before we can put the air conditioners in, though. IIRC we ran out last year.

I had brunch with my cousins and sister this morning.
Then we spent part of the afternoon weeding and getting the garden together. We're getting a new to us couch this evening so now I'm working on the living room in preparation.
Yesterday we had awesome weather so we took our bikes out and went to the petting zoo. We hadn't been this season and it was great to see the difference in DD. All of a sudden she was way more interested in the actuall animals. (Before we dragged her around the animals and then she dragged us around the playground for hours) She saw some kids picking some grass and handing it to the goats, and off she went. The goats lost interest before her. Today was the last day of our spring break, kind of glad school's starting again. I am sure that doesn't make me a bad mother, now, does it?

Yesterday was another off & on day of rain but then it finally tapered off towards the end of it. We did the Home Depot kids workshop, rock hunting for a bit before the cold got the best of us & a little time at the library. Today was the first day of full sunshine! We spent the day at a town by the lake for another day of rock hunting & geocaching, had breakfast at a super cute place & just went park hopping here, there, & everywhere. Really took advantage of the nice weather hiking a ton. We went out for ice cream before heading home & ds grilled for dinner. The backyard is still a swamp but hopefully the week of nice weather & sunshine will help.
