Age: 4 today!
Milestones: My rainbow turns 4 today! I can't believe it.
Challenges: Nothing really worth mentioning. She's been great!
Funny/cute stories: We got J a Trolls guitar for her birthday so she can play with MH and BIL - they both play. She straight up told her cousins at her birthday, "I'm not ready to share this," and walked around with it all day long LOL Normally she's really good about sharing, but that guitar wasn't going anywhere!
How are you? Furious at the moment. It's work related BS.
Anything else? I'm back at work this week, and really not handling it well. I gotta get it together
QOTW: "Are you sure she's yours?" Yes, a-holes. Granted, all she got from me is my nose and my hair (so far), but damn... Yes. SHE'S MINE.

Milestones: Can string 3-4 words together, using manners, doing great being a big brother
Challenges: Being two Put him in time out the first time today. Took a few tries for him to get it.
Funny/cute stories: He calls his sister "baby woe woe" (willow). It's adorable and he is so gentle with her. I brought him into daycare with the baby and all his little toddler friends say "baby sister!" and come look at her. He is proud to show her off.
How are you? Good, tired but good
Anything else? nope
QOTW: What is the most annoying question people ask you? Where my son got his blond hair. My husband and I have brown hair, he is very blond. However my Mother's side of the family is all blond and I was blond until I was two. I don't feel I need to explain my child's genetics to strangers lol
Milestones: Climbing on top of one our kitchen stools and scaring the shit out of me.
Funny/cute stories: Her wardrobe is a mix of hand-me-downs from her brother and one of her cousins. So some days, she's dressed in all "boy" clothes, other days it's all pink and frilly, and still others, it is a mix of the two. I rarely buy her clothes (unless for something specific) because we just don't need them. Today at Target, I was looking for a gift for a cousin's shower and she saw a green dress and she had to have it. I've never seen her get excited about clothes like this. Jabbering and pointing. She started crying when we walked away from it and stopped when we got near it again. She got the biggest grin on her face when I took it off the rack and signed "thank you" unprompted when I handed it to her. She wouldn't hand it over at check out, either. I had to rip off the tag to let the cashier ring it up. She pitched a fit when we got home because I had to wash it before she can wear it.
I'm definitely going to not give in every time, but she was so adamant about this dress and everyone wants new clothes at times.
